I had this done over 10 years ago to try and correct my flat feet. Unfortunately, the pain after this procedure as horrendous. My body completely rejected the implant and had to be removed around 3 months later. It took 11 further surgeries to “fix” my feet. It ruined my career.

Subtalar implant models are distributed by many companies, for example, HyproCure (GraMedica), ProStop (Arthrex), SubFix (Stryker) or subtalar screw (ChM). It depends on the surgeon's preferences.
