Flat Feet Correction with HyProCure Surgery Zachary's Story

Treating flat feet in children with the minimally invasive surgery known as HyProCure.
Zachary was born with flat feet.
Many children are born with flat feet, but for 8 out of 10 of them, the condition resolves by itself by the age of 6.
The other 20%, if left untreated, enter adulthood with flat feet which can cause a myriad of other conditions like knee and ankle pain, misaligned joints, slow development of arthritis, and lower back and hip pain due to the inability to absorb shock properly.
To avoid these future issues for her son, and to treat the current foot pain he was experiencing, Zachary's mom made an appointment with their family doctor who referred her to Dr. Mikkel Jarman. A pediatric podiatrist with Pediatric Foot & Ankle in Phoenix, Arizona.
After a thorough exam and xrays, Dr. Jarman determined Zachary was a great candidate for the HyProCure procedure. A non-invasive outpatient surgery where a small incision is made in the ankle allowing a titanium stint to be inserted to correct the misalignment in the ankle, fixing flat feet for good.
In this video, Zachary shares how he went from being in pain and unable to run - to now being able to run, play sports, and walk pain free and without flat feet.

The stent remains in place. Most adults have no problem. If for some reason there's an extreme injury to the area, the stent could be removed if necessary. Thanks for watching our video.

I'm not a specialist, but I know the answer is no. I was in the military and they offered me free surgery to fix it, and I regret not doing it then. If anything, the more exercise I did from the knees down, the more issue became.

I have flat feet, but I also broke my right foot years ago when I was a kid, ever since my whole right side has been super tight, hip and shoulder the main points of pain or tightness. When I squeeze and tilt my foot, it releases.?? Hate wearing flat shoes.
