For some reason I feel like 2017 X is more of a “What if”situation than another self-insert EXE (Like how Starved is a “what if” scenario.) From what I’ve known when searching KZbin and looking at the art & visuals of this song (Especially the final section,) I something tells me that Sonic is actually just the second half of Solaris (Iblis) using Sonic’s dead corpse as to deceive people & sonic’s friends to think IF he’s the real sonic, but is also using him as a vessel to maintain his form, a somewhat of a compromise until he’s reunited with Mephiles. Raven originally planned a 2.5 with minor additions. An update that was essentially meant to be the cherry on top. When she was booted, the team that was so head over heels in confidence scattered, not knowing what to do because they had greed for power and kicked the very person that pushed the mod forward. The one that knew how to. From what I know at least. They didn't know what to focus on and what was now meant to be 3.0, never came to fruition, and the mod fell apart. Like a sinking ship, the most we got was a cancelled build. Really just scraps of it. You wanting that messy amalgamation to be mixed with what appears to slowly become a fine and refined piece of Exe media, possibly fixing that mod history for good shows to me that you are either looking through rose tinted glasses or just don't know how to value things that are actually good. Besides, I'm sure Xenophanes (the original one that doesn't originate from the vs exe mod (if he even is still in the mod,) will be executed just right if that is your concern. I don't get what your issue is there.

This song is so good! It really brings back Sonic.exe in a new, refreshing way. I love the intensity of “Sonic’s” chromatic and the added detail at 1:48 when it switches back to the faker chromatic for 1 turn. Great song overall that ultimately revived the FNF community!

:o It's finally here! Will edit comment after listening to it for a while! Edit: So here are my thoughts: Phenomenal song! 2017 X's chromatic is amazing and adds to the intense atmosphere of the song! His voice lines are also amazing, so props to that as well! Really my only criticism is I wish there was more! When I first heard the teaser, I didn't expect it to be half of the entire song. Still, 3 minutes is a good length for an fnf song, and every second of this was a treat for the ears. Again, phenomenal job!
