I am not someone who is interested in fashion or shoes in particular, but there is something so moving about a craftsman (and artist!) who puts so much heart and thought into his designs and work. This shoe was clearly a labor of love. Congratulations on your accomplishment and I hope it brings you even more success and appreciation! Also, thank you for your vulnerability. It's amazing how much symbolism is used in the design of this shoe: from the various references to swords and sword designs, to the leather used on the interior being traditionally used in armor. It is so beautifully crafted the allegory of this business shoe's association with fighting and modern warfare. It truly makes you think. This is art.

This gentleman, Phillip was curious about these shoes and was browsing the internet for more information about it, as I do if I come across something astonishing. I read everything about it and even buy books on the subject. I remember when I saw a picture of one of the Faberge eggs I was completely mesmerised by it and I even bought a bad copy of it! 🤣 That's my take on this, but I might be completely wrong. 🤗

What a beautiful design! Each part references back to other parts, back to front, under toe sword shape to inner heel scabbard cloud; the shoe tree hollowed out to show the moon on the inside, and the upper pull of the tree echoing the horseshoe heel. It must feel divine in the hand. Bravo! You, your family, and your country can be proud of this astounding work of craftsmanship and art.

japan tends to do everything better than everyone else. im american and i can recognize that japan has very high skilled tradesmen, musicians, animators, city planning, whiskey, transportation. im sure there are things they might not be so good at, but those things are few and far between

Just a thought of mine that literally occurs to me, I think you would also be a perfect car designer. All cars today are faceless and can be confused with one another. This is a really gorgeous shoe! Very classy and unique. I’m a woman, so I don’t pay too much to menswear, but even so, a lot of it looks the same to me. This is very distinctive!
