32:20. That old Singer is a great find and definitely sellable. Both as a collectable and as an old work horse. Back when Singer made real sewing machines. Beautiful machine with a solid cover that just needs a little refinishing. Been awhile since I've left a comment with my favorite Scrapper. Never miss you videos even if I don't leave angood word. Actually, the best scavenging is at college campuses. Specifically, April, May, or June. That's when kids graduate. Mom and dad paid for all their furniture, lamps, you name it. Even Vespa's are left behind or found near the dumpsters.
@PolyProphet2 жыл бұрын
Is there any competition?
@unclebee56742 жыл бұрын
@@PolyProphet Not really. Which surprised me. Colleges set up massive dumpsters at these dormitories', fraternity and sorority houses and these kids just throw everything in and around them. I saw an old landlord going around these dumpsters at 3am. She had brand new refrigerators', couches, lamps, tables. I was third party contract security and was not obligated to do anything so I just observed. I actually grabbed a refrigerator, almost new kitchen table with ceramic tiles on top. Three Vespa's and one brand new, pink Vespa. I asked the owner why she wasn't taking it with her and she said her parents wouldn't allow her to take it back home. Someone, moments later offered to buy it flat out for like $50. and hauled it off in his truck. LOL
