I’m trimming my spent flowers back too. It does look a lot better. I was even surprised to find some new flower buds. I have seen one hummingbird flitting about. I was worried they weren’t coming. Hope the dragon flies come too. I’ve only seen one. My ajuga is spreading out great. I’m taking pictures to preserve my happy memories! My roses are blooming well. I had a section that had gotten so overgrown that I couldn’t see the rosebush! Pruning sure took care of that. 😊

Your garden looks beautiful! I enjoyed watching you maintain it. Very satisfying! I’m having trouble convincing my husband to upgrade our drip system. He thinks my plants are getting enough water but I think they are struggling. It’d take a fortune to upgrade our watering system! But I’ll broach the subject again after the deck is rebuilt. Wish me luck! Have a wonderful day ahead!🤗💐🌻🌺🌷🌈🙏

I would love to see your compost process. I’m interested in doing my own composting but unsure how/where to locate it.

Hi there, I really enjoy your videos and your beautiful garden. What part of Michigan are you in? I have a friend that lives in Warren Michigan, but also has a lake house I believe it in Lake Glennie? Michigan was beautiful. I got to see the east side of Michigan from Detroit all the way up to Mackinac Island. FYI, to get onion, garlic or fish smell out of your hands, first wash your hands with cold soapy water, and then wash them again using toothpaste. I used to work in the meat department and had to clean fish and that’s the way we got the fish smell off our hands. If it works for bad breath, it also works for stinky 🐟🧅🧄.

I'm in zone 7 so I'm doing the great debate about what to cut back. I feels good to do the clean up but it's also saying good-bye to summer. I love your pink mums!

I wonder if I could trim back my daylily bed with my new electric hedge trimmers. It would be quicker than using a Felco #2 (but it's a lot heavier)...

Soleilさん、こんにちは。 The gardening thorn in my town is 9a but I plant tropical plants in the ground and they don't survive the winter. Fall is an exciting time of year with lots of gardening season work.
