I sold my 1st edition, now I want to get the second edition, does 2nd edition comes with expansions? Or we still have to buy the expansion separately? Thanks, great video!

The second edition has its own expansions, but the collectors edition comes with an the expansions.

Solo modes work well. There are multiple modes celebratin depending on how much interaction / Up keep you want

Hey Dan, don't you think that, although cool, the new design of tiles is rather distracting / cluttering, and actually makes it more difficult to know what the tile does and it's icons? In the first edition the art was indeed more bland and limited, but I think more functional, as it's easier to see the important part? (The icons)

Hi Carlos, I haven't had that problem with the tiles. They are nice and big and I haven't been distracted by them.

Is this a good buy for 2 players? I noticed the collectors addition included alot of expansion whereas the base game plus 1 expansion is already 100 dollars together. I don't have a game group and wanted to know if I should get it for me and my wife to play. We play most games with just 2 players unfortunately. Games like kemet and scythe ect ect .

I take it that you didn't keep the cardboard sprues and the foam panel, and lay them in the bottom of the box, as the game suggests, to keep the trays and manuals and such, at the top of the box?

For the base games yes, but if you add the expansion you take all the other items you mentioned out.

Im considering the buy this game. I've played it onece and I like it. So, I just want to know the different between the sencond edition and collector eeedition. As I know, The collector edtion has everything that the section edition has right ? Collector edition is equal to the base game plus the expansion. Nothing new for the second edition right?

Yes collector has all expansions and the nicer tower and tile distribution system and the nicer recessed busts to track your income and reputation which is great because you won't bump your trackers and forget where they were.

Don't forget the CE has lots of little wooden markers to let other players know how many of certain buildings are out. I didn't realize how nice that was until I played with them. But the regular game should come with recessed player boards. Here more than even terraforming mars. Everyone is constantly knocking their cities around adding new tiles. It really makes everything so much smoother and it would add what, $5 to the msrp? Almost essential imo.

I believe Those extra bits were still extra so not all CE versions came with that. You had to add them on.

See your score board has a typo between 35 and 37 as well... assume it’s a typo and not intensional?

@@TheGameBoyGeeks it’s accidental apparently will be fixed in the next print round. Caused a lot of amusement and debate when I was supposed to be on 36 in our first play though.
