@@fwra1234 Off the top of my head Mad Island, Summer Clover, and Dungeon Vixens were some of my favorites I played this year. I still need to play Kaiju Princess 2 which just came out a few weeks ago and see if that ends up being my favorite, as Arrogant Kaiju Princess was my favorite of last year.

Given Studio FOW's previous work in animation, I wonder how much of the H-scenes focus on the human/human or human solo content. I know they're big on monster/girl work and while I don't judge anyone for liking it, I don't really enjoy it myself. I love a good story, and the visuals do look amazing, but $25 seems a lot if I'm gonna have to skip more than a few of the waifu's scenes.

There's a pretty big spread and you can set it up to screen out what you're not interested in. Most of the story related scenes are predominately 'human' on 'human'. (This is a galaxy with alien races after all.) Only Lily's 'Devotion Quest' features any game related human/monster scenes. Most of the adult content is sequestered away where you can focus on the ones you like and ignore the ones you're not interested in.

Or, if you're anything like me, you'll find the dialogue, which makes for the majority of your play time, unbearable. The writing is the sort of thing a thirteen year old boy might try on his mates to see if he could get a groan. It is not erotic. It is antierotic, and something western game writers have an existential problem with.

Only apprehension with this game I have, is I heard it was jokey. And the humor was in the vein of Marvel. And holy crap am I tired of Marvel like humor.

I played it. It's absolutely marvel-ish, but maybe closer to Family Guy doing star wars in how sarcastic it is a lot of the tme. I'll say I'm also not a fan of marvel dialog, but it wasn't much of a turn off for me while I played. If that's really your only apprehension, maybe get it, but keep the return period in mind.

It's gets a little Deadpool 'self-aware' at times and a lot of the early stuff doesn't really age well given how long it was in development but open to the public. The later stuff is pretty good though, so it does get better.

It's definitely a little marvelish. Perhaps feels more like a cheesy parody of a marvel movie. I'm not the biggest Marvel movie fan but I didn't mind it here. I could easily see how others may find it obnoxious or cringey though haha.
