Good sleuthing! As a former NYCT employee who worked on Station Rehabs you will find that just about every station in the system has had some sort of modification. Alot of the closed off portions were done back in the 70's & 80's when riding the train was sketchy. So those end platform exits and even under platform transfers were closed off and repurposed. Alot of the major multi level stations have whole sections completely closed to the public but used for STAtion maintenance. STA stands for Stations dept when you see that on a door by the way. Keep the videos coming!

I was recently on the uptown platform of the C and E train at 50th St., and I saw sign saying "exit 51st St and eighth Avenue" they finally started using that abandoned exit.

I remembered the old K-Mart in Penn Station!! There’s a lot of history behind the old subway stations. That should be a documentary history lesson for me since I love exploring old historical sites in the transit system itself

You must of still had the raw footage of your original Subway Secrets 1 video in order to remake it. It’s the only way you could have made this video since the original one has your sped up voice. I’m impressed you still had the raw footage for it but I’m glad you did because if I had to choose any of your old videos to be remade the original Subway Secrets would be the one. Congratulations on your new channel! I hope it does well. Hopefully you will be able to cover some things that you normally don’t get to cover. Walking over the Manhattan bridge or exploring different neighborhoods would be cool. Let your creative juices flow. I’m looking forward to seeing what new content appears here.

Thanks! So glad you're over here, too! Shorter educational videos and transit-oriented comedy didn't really fit with the main channel, so that's what this channel is for! And some more experimental ideas. You said yourself the main channel was losing focus on what the fans liked best, and I agree. We'll all figure this one out together, too!

Some of the stairways were closed for security reasons. The way things are now it’s probably not a good idea to reopen them.

I should have mentioned this in my previous comment but it would probably be a good idea to make a short video on your main channel talking about your two new KZbin channels. I know you talked about it on the social media platform formally known as Twitter but there are probably many viewers who never saw that tweet. It’s best to let the people know about it on your main channel. It’s the best way to gain more subscribers.

At the 103rd st station that little door area you found might have been an old phone booth there’s one like it at the 155st station on the B/D station I’m sure you can find old pics
