The TA eliminated Dean St Station due to the fact that most of the people didn't pay the fare.

Yeah I read that. Also it was the least used in the entire system. But then that's according to fares... which lots of people didn't pay... so probably best they closed it.

40 years ago I went on all of those trains and they had different names they had the RR they had the number seven going to Flushing. Wow, I have things changed and everything is much cleaner. New York used to be so so dirty and it used to smell of urine in the subway.

The court street station ( transit museum ) was designed and built to feed into a east river tube to ( IND second system) connect to 2nd Avenue subway or now phase 4 ! Figure with luck another 100 years ? The south 4th street station that you tried to find was also built for the IND second system.
