Subway Third Rail

The third rail is not something to mess with. People have survived its force, but it will most likely bring death

A solution could be something like platform gates/screen doors (uncommon in north America), overhead wires (uncommon on north American subway systems) or bottom-contact third rail. Bottom -contact third rail is third-rail with the only live part at the bottom, the rest being insulated. Another solution is having the third-rail at stations powered down unless, a train is there. Edit: fixed spelling

@@justisaiah6541 well people sometimes fall on the train tracks. There’s enough drunkards in cities with questionable sense of direction. Our metro here has the third rail under a sort of railing so you’d have to make a more conscious effort to touch it rather than just falling on the tracks 😅
