Btw for all people doing this on a 350z you don’t need to take the center console off you just unscrew the two back bolts and lift it up so the shit behind it can move and then you put it back in its place you don’t have to completely take it off you just have to move it like 5 inches up so the stuffy behind it can get out

I have one 10 inch JLW6, and that sub is amazing for its size. I miss my two 12 inch Kicker Comp VR's. Now those mofos, rocked!!!!

this is going to be a long message but it's worth it. Nice but fyi read owner's manual for Nissan entertainment wiring diagram or the Pioneer manual if you have no clue what you're doing. Let's begin Blue on certain units represent Remote turn on. Blue and white represent powered antenna and depending on what source model or unit. Years also play a big factor. Blue and white also represents a different source of wire into a factory harness. Not the aftermarket stereo. If you had a double din color codes may vary along with parking, brake, reverse camera, OBD2 etc etc. By the looks of it it look like you splice into your factory harness that is not good but this is my opinion if I were you by the actual harness that goes to the Nissan models. Look at your color code options to on Metra and Pac website. They also have a color code option and wiring diagram for you. Also my other aadvice for you is to take your time flux, solder abd heat shrink every wire, electrical tape, Tesa tape and or use techflex. Make sure you electrical tape or tesa tape or tech flex your power and ground wire for clean and none electrical faulty. My opinion use ofc (oxygen free copper) wire. If you're using over 1,500 rms watts use 1/0 gauge wire with wire ferrules. Wire ferrules are good for everything your speaker cable your subwoofer cable your remote turn on and your power and ground. your subwoofer wire is entirely way too small that amplifier also has 2 positives 2 negative yes monoblock even though it would have been a lot of wire to your subwoofers that would have been perfect and easier to wire. Example If your using 10 gauge or 8 wire for your subwoofer don't try to shove multiple runs in those small terminals at those subwoofers have high output subwoofers usually have 10 to 8 gauge size holes but for Monster subwoofers they have 4 gauge. You can stop at your local Home Depot and pick up some 8 gauge or 10 gauge bolt type terminals then pick up some grade 8 bolts drill a hole on the side of your subwoofer box and make sure everything is running in to ++ -- series if both subwoofers are a dual 4-ohm and if you want 1 ohm. make sure your amplifier is capable of it. I hope you did the Big 4 upgrade and an external battery and a good battery up front. Seems like the most practical way (if you don’t already have the sub like he did) is find a 12“ sub and an amp and mount the sub in the stock enclosure behind the drivers seat with the amp behind it

I used to have two 10" Stratos in my Z also. The thing is the boxes that fit in the Z's(same box you have) are to small for those subs. The Stratos take up so much internal volume because of their size. I ended up going with shallow mount sub's using the same box and getting a lot better lows. The 10" Stratos are awesome damn subs and I plan on building a box for them for my truck. Those sub's are supposed to use 8gauge wire which is what I'm running. I am running 0 gauge power wire to power my amps.

Probably shouldn’t use that wiring kit for the amount of power that supposed to goingnto those subs. Power wire is too small for that amount of power. Even tho it’s a hifonics and it won’t push rated power. U should go to down4soundshop.com and get a good kit. However good beginner type build. Looking to get a z sometime.

oriondx72 yes. They are extremely pitchy and no bass. They rattle. Ask any z owner. Its one of the first things they change on the car. The saying is the blows(blose) sound system.

Jacbybentril yes it does. But amp depends on what subs you have lol. And my friends and I have all used scosche on all of our set ups and have all had 0 issues. Great deal for the price
