For those interested in shot placement: Entrance was just behind the crease on her right side and the exit landed right in the heavy bone of the opposite shoulder, stopping the broadhead at the hide. This impact damaged the bundle of nerves on that shoulder, also known as the brachial plexus, and laid her down very fast. I immediately assumed I’d hit the spine, and sent a follow up arrow. This was my first time seeing that nervous system damage from a shoulder hit deer. Seems to be quite rare and very interesting. Cheers gentlemen. 🍻
