People often forget that it is the simple things that are important for us; our health, goals, values, good communication and doing the things that will make us better people. I think we start to lose our way when we stop doing the simple things.

It’s not that they forget, lot of them grew up with narcissistic type parents who withheld love unless they did something to make them look good or showed too much importance on material things so they feel like they have no worth without their accomplishments.

You've hit the nail on the head. It's so easy to get caught up in the complexities of life and lose sight of what truly matters. Your reminder about focusing on our health, values, and personal growth is a much-needed breath of fresh air. I wholeheartedly agree that revisiting the simple things is often the key to rediscovering our path and purpose. Thank you for sharing this insightful perspective!

2:08:39 laziness and procrastination as explained in this session does apply to the higher percentage of those not aware of what is actually around each of us. I will have to say mine goes in a different direction as i can find more clarity and helps me regain more acknowledged senses. I still struggle to explain in words and do hope to find others that are able to understand where to find each other as in alignment i suppose.

I can agree with all points expressed which covers quite a bit of ones or others journey. It amazes me it actually starts from a very young age in some but is not understood at the moments it actually opens to one like the sun coming around the cloud with a force but is not seen due to not understanding. Greatly appreciate the lessons explained more plainly.

Thank you so much... I am struggling with people I live with so much and you help me get through more days than not. Some things are beyond my control, and your philosophical content helps me take control more than I would have without it. I am trying but unfortunately, I feel I must abandon way too much. This is not a complaint because such a great loss may be necessary, but the pain still stays. In reality, have to learn to channel such deep feelings of resentment and put aside hate in order to be true to me and focus on what I know is within me because I have tried so hard to just be broken down by those around me. Right now I hate life but I will have faith in what I am doing.

I like this concept of living toward the goal life. I listened to this sleeping. While having a dream, I was back in college shouting all my strengths to a College professor/Mentor figure. They were skills I would normally leave out or think there was no money in it. By the end of the dream I knew what I wanted to do and even met the old college heart throb. Anyways funny how the subconscious works on a problem. Think I'll try it again. Thanks for the post!

Excellent job regarding your research and information. I love how you present your content in such a clear and concise manner. I only wish we could mainstream this kind of stuff into the school systems instead of them being indoctrinated into something they are not. Strangely enough this stuff has been around with thousands of years and we still struggle as a species. How can we call ourselves the greatest species on his planet when we can't learn from the wisdom of our forefathers and keep making the same mistakes time after time. God help us!

The world is your playground, but you also have to abide by certain rules. (child/adult) Not to condemn yourself, nor conform or blend into society but to learn to love, accept, understand and respect one another. Understanding and respecting the natural laws of the universe and complex raw human condition and organisms. It's a dichotomy between science and mysticism that tend to lead to profound discoveries and insight but always comes with a heavy expense. Either way it is still growth. Loneliness, umbridge, joy, excitement, sorrow, fear, love. It's all a spectrum unified as one. My advice is don't ask someone what love is. Ask love what love is. Some people are called to walk this path, and for others it may not be their time or life purpose to do so. But in my experience to unravel the myriads of realities, time, space, concepts and beliefs etc; it is truly mesmerizing, agonizing and wonderful. Sorry if what I wrote was written terribly, but I felt a need to share something. (:

This video does not takes in consideration how other people can be evil and your life may depend on them financially. That could be a boss, a manager, etc who just want to explore you and bring you down by imposing absurd goals every day. Change you focus in every opportunity. Speak ill of you even when you do a great work, only by envy and sadism. Should you prepare for it in advance? Should you thrive in this chalenge? I like stoicism but the reality of the common is not the palace of Marcus Aurellius.

In order to live by most of these philosophies you have to live in a free society and not be somebody's property. Like a woman, who are usually still somebody's property in this world.

Epictetus, someone he quotes in the first bit of the video, was a slave. Blaming circumstance as a way to keep one from engaging with the content in the video isn't the way forward. And it's what most of the core principals from these philosophers are trying to help you fight.
