One important point and this speaks to double standard. She mentioned C Suite executive level jobs and she’s unmarried and childless. Men in Corporate America regardless of race Do NOT rise high in CorpAm without a wife and usually family as well. So this broad is competing with married men who had to assimilate to reach that level whereas she got a pass, socially. Saying that to contextualize this idea of BW like her not finding BM on her earnings level. A big part of the reason is because her Corporate counterpart had to marry before attaining the level of social acceptability to reach C Suite heights. Unmarried women reaching that height without the same standard tanks the idea she’s gonna find a Man in her field or industry because they’re taken. And the ones who aren’t, for their high earnings and status, aren’t checking for some masculine 44 yo childless Boss Chick rocking blazers with shoulder pads and flexing her career mobility.

@@schwanhumes323Brooooooo I see it in real time! The element that’s not promoted enough in the Black community is this concept for Most careers, there’s a social networking element that’s every bit as important as having the right education, the necessary skills and tenure to advance on the job. Especially the more Corporate where most big promotions come down to the big bosses liking someone socially - the golf buddy, the candidate with the right social capital, the right look, temperament and even political opinions, in their eyes, to be worthy of high level promotion. And Men being married with families is part of that package. These Boss chicks allowed to advance without being held to the same standard is likely feminism giving them a pass to earn a seat at the table. But when these same unwed, childless Boss Chicks start aging and suddenly looking around for husbands on their level, they’re stunned they can’t find them or are unwanted by so called financial peers . Lol when it’s really quite obvious. This lady in the video seems like a good hearted person, obviously intelligent and accomplished. But you’ll notice the one time she wavered and seems unsure of herself is in talking about finding a “special kinda guy.” The math ain’t mathing for her yet because she gotta pass and doesn’t even realize it.

@@seensay2132agreed, I was in a locker room talk with a man who told me he won’t bother doing business with a man who doesn’t have any family or stability in their life. He saw it as a red flag if a man is trying to come up and doesn’t have his head on straight nor have a family. It is something missing in our community. Needless to say he’s not in our community and he has strong conservative views. People with money tend to lean that way! It is what it is. No one who kills themselves to get to a level is willing to frivolously invest in people who have no standards and willing to trick their money off on bs. It’s temporary and won’t last… I say more of us need to understand how old money thinks if that’s the direction we want to head in.

“They”…I went to an HBCU in the late 90’s and early 2000’s and the dudes were DEFINITELY NOT choosing wives. We had no choice but to conform. In the black community (in my opinion) both women and men have morphed into battling each other, not trusting each other, competing with each other and not seeking counseling for our past baggage. All this keeps us from truly investing/signing up for the family structure and have us (men and women) looking fir the wrong things in each other, in relation to marriage.

What a waste of a beautiful woman. What modern woman must realize after you climb the corporate ladder waiting on the perfect man, while making a lot of money and buying all the LV, and huge house or condo to live in alone, girls trips etc…. Eventually no one will remember you after you’re gone. No kids, no husband or even ex husband…. The corporate structure and not even the company you founded and built will think about you after you’re gone. It’s actually sad these women have missed the point of enjoying life. Can’t tell me no good man tried to lock in with her. Probably several. He just wasn’t good enough! Perfect enough! I meant women like this all the time. All the youth has been drained so they aren’t as attractive and they still can’t let go of over serving capitalism even though they want what they missed out on. They still serve the same master.

What men say is, the chances of women at her age, AT HER level, finding a man that she ACTUALLY wants, AT THE LEVEL she wants him to be, seriously decreases the chances. Thats just a fact. It would be no different then a middle aged, broke, overweight man looking for most beautiful, eye appealing woman you could think of. That’s the choice she took. We all make choices. There are pros and cons to every choice. I don’t see the issue with her path, unless she deliberately wanted to be married with children. If she did, then she didn’t do a good job of prioritizing it.

When modern black women change we will see marriage dramatically improve in our community. Most career women cannot separate their ego when they go home after work and therefore it’s almost impossible for a man to exist with them.

EYL They're not scammers, but they surround themselves around scandals. Every other guest turns out to be a scammer. We as a culture associate you with scammers , That's our culture. If you're associated with 304s then you are considered a 304. now JT the pocket watcher is held to a legal standpoint where he cannot say they're scammers, but we as a culture. If you keep associating yourself with scammers we're just going to call you a scammer.

25:20 what is an equal counterpart? I think that this over inflation has a stranglehold on Black women. I often see corporate attractive, success women of other nationalities with regular guys who work with their hands. We have to admit that what a man looks for in a women is different than what a women looks for in a man. These other demographic of women are marrying their counterpart according to the marker. But for some reason the some Blk women think their financial status put them in the atmosphere to marry a guy in that financial atmosphere. But the reality is that guy is an 8-10 and her market placement is a 5-7.

An equal counterpart to a successful man is a woman who does a wife's duty at the level that he can do a husband's duty. These career woman are usually not on the wife level.

I am sure someone already said this but are you talking about Iyanla fix my life? Puffy Piddy Daddy made a really beautiful quality cologne called "Empress." I got it and it made me smell rich then I began to think like a rich person ( some from Dave Ramsey ) and I retired quite comfortably at 53. Empress is not being made any more but I'm at that age where cologne aint my friend anymore. LOL I aint gonna be no kerosene granny who don't know when scent is not their friend anymore. LOL.

She's not married or no kids because her circumstantial corporate choices did not allow here to do so. She never put a man on the pedestal as her next position or accolade. A man is an additive to her, not a goal. Relationships are not goals to her. Welp, maybe the finally are now.

Ladies: 1. Treat meeting your future husband like you do your career trying to get promoted to rise up the ranks. 2. When you get a boyfriend or a husband treat him every day you're with him like you would an interviewer for a job. Treat your man daily like you would going for a job interview and putting your best foot forward

Did you see that how she tryed to come between this mans honesty and because he said he didn't concerder him self as an alfa , so just because he said that at that time don't mean that he's not but noticed how she was willing to jump on the popular talking point. Of being masculine, or a alfa showes she would gravertate to the louder man. Because thats the trait of women to me with no matriarch leadership less none alfa traits. PS thats right always righr always broke, shout out to that info.
