Julie I just love your videos! It's nice to see a very realistic homeschool day. It gives me ideas for when I start homeschooling my almost 4 year old. I am thinking of waiting a year to really start with him becasue I don't think he is quite ready for it but it's been nice to get an idea of what a typical homeschool day looks like for your family. I am also in Ontario and New to homeschooling. You have such beautiful kids ❤

That’s great! When my kids are JK age, we do very simple tracing books to help them learn how to hold a writing utensil and pencil control. But that happens a couple of times a week, and most of their time is spent playing, reading books together, outside time, or simple preschool activities if they’re interested 😊 We officially start “school” the year they turn 5.

Wait until he is 5, it's not time missed, children's brains are more developed and will learn faster. Saving frustration to all people concerned! :)

Hey Friend, Happy Monday. I just love seeing more of your homeschooling content and seeing your homeschooling routine. 😊❤ I feel like everyone minds are sharper in the morning because the later in the day the more tired we are. 😮😢

Julie, I’m loving your channel! I went back quite a few years and watched day in the life’s when Wes was a baby/toddler to see how homeschooling might look when we’re homeschooling in September with a 9,5 and 1 year old! I just love all the videos! I have a question about chores though. I watched the chores video which was really helpful but I am wondering if they or you have lists or you just ask them as the day goes on. Maybe you can do an updated video with how that works?

Hi- I like your video and was wondering at what age you started to teaching your kids how to read? Mine are 4 and 6 and don’t know how to read. I’m trying to teach them but they just seem so disinterested. Any advice you can give me?

I love the homeschool videos. Daily life videos are my favorite. Adventures are fun, but content I can turn on fold laundry and relate to is awsome. Our routine is similar.. Breakfast and Morning Basket Chores Math LA/Handwriting Lunch Gather Round

I see you have a lefty. Do you see any problems or troubles with that? I have a prek student who leans that way whenever he holds a writing utensil. What say you?

Very few people are really left handed. You can try if your child can use his right hand.
