Very well read. He refers to novels regularly in his interviews. He mentioned the writer has themes for each season. Crime and Punishment foe season two and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Crack Up for season three. He mentioned James Salton as one of favorite authors. So I just had to look his work up. He’s also very ethereal about his description of his methods of acting. He stays in Kendall’s character the whole time on the set. Daniel Day-Lewis stayed in the Lincoln character from beginning to end of the entire filming!

3:40 It's interesting Kendall's reason for going against Logan was something actually motivated by good. He heard his father call the boy an NRPI and it flipped a switch in Kendall's mind that his father was evil. I think this confirms my theory that despite Kendall being an extreme questionable person who clearly is working for his self-gain, he also does believe that he represents good and is therefore doing good in his own eyes

Kendall is definitely the one that was best prepared to do the top job. But he betrayed his father too many times. Shiv was the least involved in the company and she pursued a totally different career. Conor didn't really achieve anything in his life. He just takes money from his father and spends it on bad investments (such as his call girl's theater play). Roman's role in the company was somewhat unclear but if he matures and learns from Gerri, he could be the right guy.
