I am a succulent nut and just joined a brom club and learned something that may help with some seeds not growing. The lady used Milton as a mold inhibitor. Mixed at per instructions and spray once on the growing mix when sowed and maybe again when little plants appear.

Some seeds may not germinate due to them being 'faulty' (not fert) seeds never have a 100% success rate and some may germinate later than the others.

I've noticed a heck of a lot of complaints on Amazon but I also believe that many didn't do what I'm doing right now, which is a heck of a lot of research and I already know that seeds for cacti are pretty damned small. I also know that even very experienced succulent growers don't have complete success no matter what they do. Some seeds just won't germinate and there are other factors as well. It's just that I love videos like this and for those using sights like Amazon and Ebay, really read the description because on some items the product description actually tells the buyer stuff like, "This seed collections comes with seeds for roses, lavender and other flowering plants." I'm just saying to read the fine print, know that growing succulents is pretty easy but there are still steps that a person has to take to insure the greatest amount of success. For instance, because of my apartment only having north facing windows, I set out and bought led hydroponic lights which do the trick that lack of sunlight does and it works.

I see no sand, rocks, pebbles, grit or anything in the sojl...just brown soil with the green thingy that would never grow in a proper potting mix. Use only 50% of that soil and mix it with pumice and a bit of river sand at the top for the seedlengs to hang on to... But I'm 100% sure that with the proper soil they would all have germinated... Maybe next time.

I know this is an older video and I hope u see this because I really need ur help. My seed have have started to grow and I took the lid off like a video told me once they started to sprout but some of them have fuzz on them. R they going to b ok and is there anything I can do to save them if not. I’m really worried because I haven’t ever grown succulents from seeds before and I used the succulent soil for them and really went by what I looked up in line to a t with how to get them stared! Seeds dont germinate because there is germination rate if u look at a bag of grass seeds there is a germination rate of 87% which means that's how many seeds will germinate same concept or those seeds
