I love the Vapor Eagle. It’s a nice balanced medium mech that looks cool and is so much fun to play. At the moment it’s my favorite medium to pilot! Great video as always!!!

For anyone interested in this build but doesn't have the VapeEagle due to PGI's release policy, you can do this build on a Nova with 5 less heatsinks.

@ MWO's premium and CBills economy is oneof the best and most fair/respecful in F2P games, aside from overly expensive colors and bolt ons. I've been playing for half a year and have what? 29, 31 mechs? Two of which are heroes, all mechs have camo on, got three mc colors as well... What I am saying here is that those who do not have the real money to buy Mech Packs and have to wait half a year for a mech to be released for CBills (because that is PGI's release policy, not a lunch shedule or WoWs expansion release date), there are other mechs that can facilitate that build that they might want to try before they have access to that mech (due to again, simply how PGI releases mechs).

Some are not so good though, and if you preorder mechs just for the bonuses, you still have a couple of months to wait without any info or demo on it nor any quirk that they are going to have, and that is the main issue I have with it. At least they don't make us lose credits from gameplay and force you on premium all the time and they keep updating old stuff so there is less issue with powercreep. I bought this thing just because it looks like the Guren, I mean who don't like Knightmares.

Did clan PPC's get a nerf? Thought there damage was higher than 10. I dont know bc i have never taken a clan mech. IS all the waaaaaay

ER/PPCs (IS and Clan) both deal 10 damage. But clans only have an ERPPCs, maybe you just confused it for heat they produce since non ER IS PPC generates 10 heat compared to... 14.5? on ER.

Clan PPC's do Splash damage, which Is not listed in the mechlab

@@Daeon108 , IDK if you are familiar to or interested in lore. lore-based clan ERPPC would deal 15 DMG, while the IS counterparts (standard and ER) deal 10 DMG. Also the Splash DMG should been dealt with any PPC in use. In MWO all the stats get mixed around as specific Weaponsystems are to much favored by a bigger number of players, in that case they get nerved. At least that is my impression.

@@Katana1a Clan PPCs actually do 15 damage in MWO, but part of it is splash damagebecause 15 damage pinpoint on a weapon of the weight and crit space of clan PPCs would be wickedly OP. C-ERPPCs in MWO do 10 damage on the component they hit, and 2.5 each to two neighboring components.

That Direwolf was too slow to make it to the fight. He did not choice to be there. :/ He lived a lot longer by hiding. Instead of Chasing his teams Nascar. which he would be the first to die. and for no reason. he was smart to hide.

Tried replicating that on the Bushie. LB20X, x4 SRM4, three tons of ammo for each, 64km/h engine, no JJs. Don't remember if I had to strip arm armor for it.

10 external heatsinks, 88 kph, jump jets, additional machine guns, and side torso loss survivability. Talk to me about balance with IS mediums.

@@gfarrell80 the bushwhacker excels only due to what casually turned to be a fantastic profile for an fps game with actual humans aiming and shooting. That's the exception not the norm.

@@mrxanthios7045 My 55 ton IS Bushwacker has 70/2 side torso armor and 93/2 CT armor. That is more armor than my 75 ton heavy Night Gyr (62/2, 90/2). Combine that with as you say pretty great hitboxes, and the ability to pack some pretty darn good firepower without sacrificing too much mobility, and the Bushwacker is an awesome and dangerous mech.

Lol yeah, I love the Vapor Eagle but the builds you can run on it are total bullshit. Having a 55 ton clan battlemech with good hardpoint numbers shows you how gimped a lot of omnis are by fixed slots, fixed equipment, overly large engines, and lacking ferro or endo.

Do you find that people try to head hunt you in games Baradul? There is usually a lot of chatter and people are pretty aware of you in games. Have you ever considered doing a vid where people are trying to hunt you and the ridiculous things you are forced to do sometimes to try to shake them off and win?

@ What should I be salty about, Tython fanboy? Bara is just a good player, that's it. What you get to see on KZbin is called a KZbin effect, where only the best is shown. I've seen him repeatedly ingame, sometimes 4 or 5 times in a row and imagine that, nothing stood out aside from him having his ups and downs like everyone else. Difference comes from his use of a mic because being able to herd a bunch of mindless players means a lot in this game.

I'm looking into MWO and reading mwo.smurfy-net for information on the game. For mechs like the Flea and MAD-IIC, among others, it just lists "n/a" for cost. Are the non-Hero Flea and Marauder IIC only available for real money, not in-game credits? Or is the smurfy page just not updated on a regular basis?

Flea is probably not released yet for c-bills. The MADIIC should be available for c-bills for quite a while.

Both are available for c bills. Flea is around 1,7 mio c bills with 97kph engine. If I remember correctly.

Same. I run it with two less heatsinks and put the saved weight into the aforementioned LMG plus more JJs. Clan PPCs are hot and you have no quirks for them but with full skills 10+8 heatsinks is plenty.
