We tried all the new items from Trader Joe's! Our dogs also got in on the fun and tried some new dog treats of their own. This was one of our most fun taste tests, so I hope you enjoy all the silliness!

Haha thank you! I would add my outfit details but I wear my clothes for years and most my stuff is several years old. I hate to be wasteful buying new clothes all the time. I got the sweater years ago at TJ max :)

I went to Trader Joe’s today. And on your recommendation, I got the tangerine juice. It was perfect! That is the flavor that I have been looking for and couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t find it in orange juice. Also got the raspberry truffles. Oh my goodness, they are delicious! Thank you for all the recommendations! I have loved it.

I don't like sweet pickles or sweet relish either. Dill all the way. I was tempted to try that pizza but I saw all the sodium in it and changed my mind. I gotta watch my salt these days. "chewing on a wet sponge" LOL Thanks Tim, I'm never going to hear 'dipping it in' the same way ever again! LOL

Fun taste test! Have you tried soy curls or TVP? I haven’t tried the TJ version as I’m not a big pea protein fan but it seems as through they’d work the same way. I usually hydrate my soy curls or TVP w broth, squeeze out the liquid, then season and pan fry until crispy. I think that method would give the crumbles a better texture.

You earned that high five! This was so much fun to watch. I totally cracked up at Tim's epic side-eye when you said you wanted more pickle flavor. It was great to see Benson's sweet face and all the cameos from your pets. I also loved the music you added for Tim's "feeling rich" moment and to ramp up the suspense for the Joe Joe's. Great taste test with family including the dogs and Benson at the end and the ice cream is perfect for Valentine's Day. Raspberries are refreshing and sweetly tart and a great taste.

❤❤❤ Stand your ground Tim. I totally agree….just say no to pickles! It overtakes all the flavors and ruins food. When you don’t like pickles like me, you understand. I get it Tim. No to pickles! Except for people who like pickles. More for them! 🤗

Great taste test. Love how excited your dogs were for their treats! I don't know if anyone else remembers but years ago Traders Joes had boxed plant based dehydrated taco mix. I LOVED it. I do eat meat but the seasoning in that box was so good I always bought it to make tacos. You just boiled some water, poured the box in the water and let it sit to rehydrate. I do remember though that I didn't add as much water as it said to. I ' ll have to try the new beef crumbles. I think I'll just add the taco seasoning to the water with some dehydrated onion. It would be good mixed with the frozen Spanish rice too. Also, I don't think I would like sweet pickles on the pizza. I'm all about dill so I would have to pick the pickles off too.

Hello, Hespe's! Love your fur babies! I think I would have Tim's reaction to the cheeseburger pizza ~ pickles on pizza, no way. When I eat pizza, I want the traditional pizza. I love cheese burgers but only the traditional way. I spy a kitty! So sweet❤ So nice to see Benson ~ he is growing so big! The bread sounds yummy! Thank you, as always!

In the fall get the Snickerdoodle almonds and pumpkin spice I think you will love them I still have them and they don’t go stale they are soft and delicious covered in cinnamon!I hope they still have that raspberry sorbet!

Sounds like they failed on the cheeseburger pizza. California Pizza Kitchen had a frozen cheeseburger pizza a while back that was phenomenal. Perfect cheeseburger flavor. It wasn't vegetarian though and didn't have pickles I don't think.

Fun taste test! Tim’s aversion to pickles is the same as my son’s distaste for tomatoes! My son will be 51 tomorrow, and he never liked tomatoes as a child and he still, to this day, hates tomatoes. He doesn’t even like the way they look. lol. He’s coming to visit me this weekend so we can celebrate his birthday. 😀🎈 Going to Trader Joe’s tomorrow. Got my list ready from your recent haul!

For those meatless crumbles, I wonder if, after it's prepared if you put it in a pan and sauteed it with some onion and spices if that would crisp it up and improve the texture?

I have a reoccurring dream that I'm biting into what appears to be a big ol juicy burger and can't get my teeth through the meat pattie. When I lift the bun, it's an actual sponge😣 So Katie, your description of the Meatless Ground was all I needed to hear..My son and I tried the Cheeseburger pizza and it was just meh - definitely not buying again. The pickles were the only taste that stood out so thank God I love pickles. (Tim's expressions 😂)

Tim said all he tasted was pickles. Did they taste like sweet pickles to you two, or did they taste like dill pickles? I was so excited to try this until I read on the box that it contains sweet pickles (who would put sweet pickles on a burger?!). I love dill pickles but hate sweet pickles. I know I can pick them off, but the sweet pickle juice would still be there (gross!). Still, I'm curious.
