Explicação do vídeo: No início aparecem 3 filhos, o menino que faz os talismãs é Dimash, os 2 meninos estão apaixonados pela menina, anos depois Dimash e a menina se casam e têm uma filha (a menina que morre no video) O vilão da história é o outro menino, que leva todos à guerra com sua ideia de que "Há vida na guerra". Quando Dimash menciona o "Piper" na música, ele é baseado no Pied Piper de Hamelin, que com sua flauta atraiu e hipnotizou os ratos para segui-lo e morrer, na música o "Piper" é o líder do mal, que liderou todos à morte com uma guerra à procura de uma suposta "União". No final, o protagonista (Dimash) mata seu amigo de infância (o vilão) e ele morre também. Caindo na água e gritando " é lá que são mostrados os fragmentos deles como crianças com os talismãs e crescendo na guerra. Podemos ver como aquele que um dia salvou sua vida, anos depois tira sua família e a vida de seu povo. O bebê que nasce no final é o filho do Dimash, sua mãe morre ao dar à luz (a menina do começo do vídeo) e o Dimash que sai no final andando pelo deserto com todos atrás, é o bebê já crescido , pois é isso que o talismã pendura, é uma representação de um Libertador em busca da paz, e é por isso que todos vão atrás dele, tudo o que é depois da guerra. é lá que são mostrados os fragmentos deles como crianças com os talismãs e crescendo na guerra. Hi Lucas, Awesome reaction to this masterpiece from Dimash, you sussed out what was going on but it was young Dimash who was drowning and the older boy who saved him, hence the hesitation before he shot him as he realised he once saved Dimashs life but he had turned into a bad one who believed in wars.

Desde música hasta actores. Esto significa que cinematográficamente está más que excelente; opinión que han dado directores y/o productores. Our Dimash is very vocal about the futility and human cost of war. Qazakstan only achieved independence 30 years ago, Dimash is only 28. He knows the history of his homeland and of current and past heroes of the conflict. He detests war and has stated that wars are always between two people not two nations. He has stated that he is 'only a singer' so all he can do is 'use his voice'. This is Dimash's humility and him using his voice. This was a project 3 years in the making on and off in-between commitments in many countries and his homeland not to mention his concerts of which there has been four in just this year alone. I strongly encourage you to watch the fancam short for the last part of this amazing performance from his concert on the 23rd of September in Almaty, Qazakstan where it premiered. The emotion, heart and soul is real and I believe this was a way for him to vent his frustration at current world events. The Story of One Sky is an absolute masterpiece and deserves unrivalled recognition from all corners of the earth. This makes you sad, cry and smile but leaves you questioning the direction we as a humans are travelling. Dimash promised something epic and that was a colossal understatement. He delivered as always. ❤💕

Just a few details: In the perception of some close to Dimash (including the film's director), the final character is Dimash's son born during the war and saved by several people who see him as a symbol of unity between peoples. He had honored his dead father... The name "Piper" has two similar meanings: The first is a reference to the legend of the "Piper of Hamelin" who had the task of hypnotizing the city's rats and drowning them in the sea. But the flutist, unpaid, hypnotized the entire population of the city and took them to their death! It is, therefore, a seductive message that leads to death! The other meaning tells the true story of a World War II battle where insane Canadian soldier Bill Millin, called "Mad Pipper", played bagpipes at the front, dressed in a "kilt", while his comrades were killed. ! The sound of the harmonica served to muffle the shots and motivate the companions and became a symbol of the "madness of war"!

I saw your brilliant reaction just before your video was blocked. Glad to see you again! Dimash gave to the World an extraordinary masterpiece. Probably the most emotionnal film (for me, it's a short film, not a music video) I have ever seen. Dimash outdid himself vocally. And he showed us that he is also a very great actor. I know that in Russia and China they love seeing him as the handsome hearthrob idol singing beautifully polished love songs to fit his voice (no offence Igor) but this feels so real to me, so fundamentally Dimash and what he really wants to bring to the world.

The story is about 3 friends of which 2 boys are in love with the girl. The little boy who offers the symbols of friendship he has made will marry the girl (Dimash wears a wedding ring). They will have a daughter (the one who was killed) and the mother is expecting another child. The third friend has become his enemy, and when Dimash dies, his son is born, and the mother dies in childbirth. But the child is saved by his community made up of various religions and ethnic groups, he bears the symbol of his mother. He will grow up and surely become a messenger of peace, like his father's worthy son. In the end, Dimash joins the other religious from another time, I am not a believer so it is difficult for me to interpret who he becomes. Some think the pilgrim at the end is Dimash's son, but the bloodstain from his chest wounds makes me think it's Dimash. Who joins the saints? He does not mention any war in particular because Dimash has been working on this project for 3 years, it is war in general that is mentioned here and its consequences. (I had written in French again lol, it's not going tonight!)

I was waiting for this one. You're right when you talked about the lyrics being the story and Dimash bringing it to life with his vocals and his portrayal. The necklace began as a symbol of love and being together for the 3. Only to become a symbol of war,power,death. The pain of the people shown. The pain,anguish and despair felt through Dimashes vocals. The senseless death of the little girl. The death of all those innocent people. To hear the screams of the people. The fight "We're choosing life" brought before his death. The newborn son carrying on his fight. As long as there are individuals who believe they are entitled to the power of the world along with all it's riches, that they are above all people. THERE WILL BE WAR. Dimash has been working on this project for 3 years, so it's not targeting any particular war, but it falls in the middle of the war in Ukraine. He has a big fan base there, he even did a concert in the capital. When Russia started invading Ukraine, Dimash was recording the "Okay" music video in Russia! Two countries he loves! His message in the video: do not make war. His video was released on Saturday, almost at the same time as Putin announces that he will mobilize the reservists, but we know that it will turn into general mobilization. And there, many Russian men say NO! And they're fleeing their country, they don't want to end up with a gun killing their Ukrainian cousins. Yesterday or the day before, I don't know, a young Russian shot at reservist soldiers who came to register, so that they wouldn't go to fight. It's a coincidence, but their reactions reflect Dimash's message: turn your back on

Because of nuclear weapons war should be obsolete. But men who have lost their humanity and are possessed with an obsession for power, greed and dominance care for nothing but the fulfillment of their obsessions. A couple of things. The symbol that should have united the three children ended up dividing them because the monster interpreted unity as power over everyone instead of cooperation and love. Instead of sharing love, he loves "shares" - investments and money. Though just before he dies he grasps the childhood treasure and he has tears in his eyes. Perhaps he is confronting what he has wraught. And incidentally when the child appears with her bear you know there will be no mercy because if you listen you can hear the cock of the gun just before the scene ends. The girl is the child of Dimash the soldier and the woman who was his childhood friend. Dimash exacts his revenge only to die violently himself. Dimash recognizes that we have moved beyond the aspirations of peace of John Lennon's "Imagine", as noble as those sentiments were. The child survives to adulthood, wearing the same insignia and guiding others who represent all of humanity, with their varying religious beliefs, together towards the light. We must choose life. We must take personal responsibility to what happens to the earth and not depend on charismatic malevolent leaders and the cult of personality that misguides people. All of our choices count for all of humanity to evolve and survive. This may be the most important piece of art of the 21st century.
