I like the way Milan goes the extra mile by checking ditches and hedgerows for the mother and other puppies. When the trials and tribulations of this world get too much for me, I like to view one or more of the videos of the Dog Rescue Centre (Mladenovac). It is good seeing dogs, great and small, being cared for in such a caring manner. Please consider donating something towards the inspiring work of the Dog Rescue Centre (Mladenovac).

I agree with you. I was watching one yesterday where the mother dog hurt herself in a car accident and supposedly was stuck on the side of the road for 3 days without help and when the rescuer came, he/she took the dog and worried about the mum but didn't look for the pups and she was clearly a new mum. So whatever happened to them, they were just ignored because the emphasis was on saving the mum and getting her to a vet. I couldn't live with myself without going back and searching.

@@dee-smart I couldn't either! I would be out all day and night until I was certain there weren't any babies being left behind. I hope it that case ( as awful as it is) that the mom either lost her pups, the disgusting people that abandoned her kept them or gave them to others or some other good person found the pups but Mama was away at the moment. Even tho those options are horrible too at least in those situations no pups were left out to fend for themselves. However in any case I pray that they didn't get 'disposed of' like some of the nightmare stories about pure evil acts that have befallen unwanted babies out there.
