4:47 you are right they are not hybrids, they are genetically cloned species with an amalgamation in their DNA, I suggest this because we've already seen this case with the Sinoceratops, in which they used Pachyrhinosaurus DNA to fill the gaps of it's genetic code, thus expaining why Sinoceratops clones have physical characteristics that resemble Pachyrhinosaurus; that could be the case of the Atrociraptors, f.k.a. Deinonychus, in which they used Velociraptor, Sornaensis, DNA to fill their gaps and so they have a genetic amalgamation in their color patterns that calls to the original DNA source, this being Sorna's raptors

Dr. Wu was hinting at that before when scolding Masrani and by default Hammond for wanting dinosaurs that “looked cool” versus reality, therefore having to splice DNA to make that happen. There’s also the factor of helping the dinosaurs thrive in a different atmosphere, like originally desert-dwelling Dino’s now living in the tropics

Deinonychus are already in the franchise, and I think that late realization by the creative team is what led to changing them to Atrociraptors. The Velociraptor in the franchise is supposed to be the same animal as Deinonychus, just reclassified as a separate species of Velociraptor rather than being classified as a different genus altogether. Crichton was reading the work of Gregory S. Paul during his research phase. Greg believed that taxonomy (classification of organisms) was out of control in the field of paleontology. He proposed that Deinonychus antirrhopus wasn't different enough from Velociraptor mongoliensis to warrant its own genus, and that instead, we call Deinonychus Velociraptor antirrhopus. Thus, putting Deinonychus in the film would be pointless as we already have them under a different name. How the creative force did not know this blows my mind. I was 11 when I learned this, and that's when the 1st film was still fresh.

Wish we got to see more dinosaurs, old and new, even the new species we got we barely got to see. Also to me Dominion seemed to be about Biosyn and the dinosaur sanctuary which really doesn’t fit the title Dominion where as Dominion would refer to dinosaurs ruling the earth, which I didn’t feel yk, wish we got to see more montages of dinosaurs out in society like the end which was beautiful and made me hella emotional lol, but yeah, still liked it tho, just could’ve used more dinosaurs instead of mostly Biosyn yk

These concept arts look so good, shame Suchomimus wasn't added into the movie, but those two massive Sauropods reminds me or got me thinking about Argentiniosaurus or Dreadnaughtus, so yeah Also, love more Chaos Theory mode for JWE2, maybe a Malta Chaos Theory mode where we rescue the creatures from the Black Market in that scene and moved them to a safe location outside of Malta, they could add all the dinos and other prehistoric creatures in this, because those concept art of the Malta scene wants me something like that for JWE2, so yeah

Those Biosyn workers burning the locusts would have been a perfect and horrifying scene. Imagine the workers going in to burn the locusts, only to have the locusts aggravated and attack the workers inside their enclosure. One of the dying workers panicked and carelessly opened the door, releasing the burning locusts out of the facility and fly out into the forest of the sanctuary.

Maybe they swapped the sucho w/ the allo so we’d see the family resemblance to the Giga, which Owen mistakes it for. A bit of stretch yes, but who know? Or maybe to save some extra case as they already had the allo model from Battle at Big Rock?

Would make sense, the giga is a carcharodontosaurid, which are in the allosauridae family, which as the name implies means that allosaurus and giga are related (technically, allosaurus is the Giga’s ancestor) and the real life Giganotosaurus even has head crests that are very similar to allosaurus

This confirms that all the Species written in black on the DPG List escaped Nublar Most of them were in Fallen Kingdom Pachyrhinosaurus was on the Arcadia Dilophosaurus,Dimorphodon and Microceratus got into Dominion Suchomimus was planned for Dominion so it's probably still alive and roaming

Technically the JP/JW Velociraptor IS Deinonychus. It was just given a different name because Michael Christon preferred the name and there was a scientist that beleived Deinonychus was a subspecies of Velociraptor. By appearance and size the JP/JW raptors ARE Deinonychus. So adding Deinonychus would be very confusing.
