I ain't watched it since I was 11 in 2005 I always remembered the namee and certain parts like the court fight over the cds nick getting robbed for his watch the bathroom stabbing and him running from the dock I just never knew where to find it till today.

This movie is underrated. My only critique is that they misrepresented the Mission District, The Mission District is Mexican and Central American... heavy. But they didn't show a Mexican or Central American for some reason.

Omg! I new every street I remember that park I hated to go to that park now I c why it was not cool for lil kids to play . I remember the buses use to hate to go to that bus stop on the corner it would never stop on that street. I saw the windows get busted out before. I remember walking down that hill visiting my mother I remember bob's store all the way down by the water I remember the store catching 🔥.. I remember being chased by a pit up that hill dude walked down exactly by that red mustang I hated that dog

This was slated to be a showtime show but Spike Lee didn't want to commit to a full time series and Showtime dropped it sadly. This would of been a great series especially in light of how fucked the Bay Area has become because of tech money and gentrification
