To be honest, I think mihoyo is gonna introduce the corrosion status in Sumeru for non spiral Abyss. If Sumeru is the land of Dendro there might be alot of poison themed enemies. So like how the golden apple archipelago was also a test for waveriding, this spiral Abyss stage is the test for corrosion.

Use Jean, she is a very good healer, her burst insta heals all party members and stays and gets rid of all elements on the player. Ex your Eula is taking fire damage you swap to Jean do her Q and BOOM fire damage is gone. (you really should try out jean very very good character)

This happens with all characters when you take damage the instant you use your burst. The real bug with Shogun is, you swap out from her, go to use someone else's burst, and it wastes hers instead. Sometimes there's also a visual bug where the screen is black during the entire initial animation apart from when the eye comes out and the slash itself (this also happens 100% if the first one happens). She's broken but they're so rare that not many, if anybody, noticed these.

i noticed only recently but the specters and signora are designed to balance or negate op players- if you read their descriptions, the player damage would be negated if a single strike would reach a certain proportion of the enemy hp. that means every hit after that proc would be stuck under a certain number no matter how powerful they are. I think mihoyo noticed how well players can play so they thought of debuffing the player with dmg limits- this might be the same for this corrosion status but in a different way

it's a really shit mechanic... I really REALLY wish the game would at least adjust itself to not have shitty timer goals when it tries "survivability" challenges like this. Since I always struggled with damage, I always built dps characters, then when I got my tanky shield Zhongli, I was pretty much set for abyss. Now I am not. So this is what you should have : First half : barbara/jean/qiqi (lvl 70 atleast) and 1 dps and 2 support (eula, zhongli and any character) if barbara can use chongyun as support. Sec half : jean/barbara/qiqi (lvl 70 atleast) and 1 dps and 2 support (hutao/ganyu , xingqiu (very effective) and sucrose). If u use a catalyst user , use Prototype Amber! Its VERY useful for this kind of situation. Goodluck!.
