Let us set all matters very clear 😊 1) The simple Definition of Religion: know the true meaning of life, the purpose of your existence, and the reality of your creator. To work good deeds and strive against committing bad deeds until you meet your creator. 2) Religion Merchants : are those who are commiting bad deeds in order to dominate over others by manipulating the Religion texts and corrupt in Earth under the banner of Religion ! But the religion is innocent from their deeds and they would be set accountable for this. 3) Nationalism : The instinct feelings inside you of loving the place you were raised in, your family, your people, and your homeland in general and the true desire to keep it safe and prosperous and defend it in the time of need regardless the consequences. 😊 4) Nationalism Merchants : those dictators who corrupt and dominate over homelands, oppress their people, steal their resources, and misuse the art of administration of their nations, prefer their own interests over their people interests. All under the banner of Nationalism and Loyalty to your homeland. And remember this, when you stand firm to the religion merchants, they will call you apostate. 😂 And when you stand firm to the Nationalism Merchants, they will call you a traitor. 😂 End of lecture. 😅

When a conflict doesn't have a political party agenda in the west or democratic country, it tends to be ignored by media. Sudan conflicts has many interest groups, none in western political party related, so it's ignored. Key countries: egypt, lybia, uae, china, russia- these are the one's who have a vested interest, and the more conflict, the more sudan is dependant, the more these countries win. It's kind of neo-colonization by means of war. But as it doesn't fit "muah mean west" it doesn't reach the news.

This region of Africa has produced some of the deadliest conflicts the world has seen this century, the recent Tigray war cost 500,000 lives ,and at it's peak over 1000 soldiers were dying everyday , the war lasted 2 years btw and were it not for that peace agreement, it could been much worse, I'm talking of a Rwanda type scenario but instead of machetes, this time there were guns involved. Starting from 2003 ,there was the Darfur g***cide, 300,000, killed another deadly war. These conflicts don't get highlighted which is sad, however I'm glad people are starting to remember Sudan btw I closely followed the Tigray war and it's this war that made me realise the terrifying efficiency of Drones.

The conflict should be viewed in the regional context as much as National. Arab and Islamic malitias have been taking power or leading rebellions across the Sahel, notably the coup belt to the west. Burkina Faso is a center of Islamic terrorism, but the entire region has become a hub. To the North the Lybian civil war, while not as strongly ethnic in context, does have a relevant religious element. Even to the North Egypt has been dealing with Muslem brotherhood rebel groups in Sinai, and of course the Gaza conflict rages on its border. Its easy to condem the military government of Egypt, but important to consider what a democratically elected islamic government could mean for the region. The South Sudan conflict isn't long in the past, and the Potential for south Sudan to be included in the conflict is very real. And Ethiopia to the south is teetering on civil war, with Eritrea likely to be pulled in. And further south of South Sudan, Rwanda ans Uganda are brewing conflict with the Congo. The RSF, along with Lybian mercenaries fought in Yemen under UAE employ, where they were improved in caliber. The UAEs context in pushing these Arab militias should not be understated, nor should Russias role under the Wagner banner in destabilizing the region to access cheap mineral wealth. Africa is at risk of seeing war from The Congo to the Mediterranean and the Rea sea to the Atlantic. And Sudan is at the Center.

The funny thing is that right at their independence in the 60s, Africa was not a bad places. Many countries in Asia (like South Korea) were poorer and some parts were even more developed with good industries than South or Eastern Europe. But then, they massacred Europeans, and when there was no more Europeans to kill or expell, they turned on each others, turning Africa into what it is today.

"No decisive action was taken to prevent genocide". By whom? The "international community"? The leaders of the world´s nations know all that is happening there, and they don´t care. Apart from that, who is the good side in that country? External pressure or military action usually only works if there is some good side, but, no one with any power or following seems at all interested in ending the violence. I wish it were otherwise, but I don´t think this will end until most of the population is dead.

These powerful evil men, fight for power, refuse to give the people a say in who governs them and then tens of millions of civilians have to suffer and die. And yet every single African country, has the mineral and natural resource wealth to be a Qatar, with no one living in absolute poverty. What a tragedy. I am striving to be financially independent, so I one day have the means, to be an effective activist, to make a change to this all too familiar problem in Africa. I think that will be a worthwhile thing to do, with the only ever life, the universe has given me.

I think the OP didn't mean "the conflict is because of the religion", but more like "people who are part of the religion are quite prone to conflict", implying that the religion itself doesn't teach, or perhaps, doesn't succeed at teaching *peace.* Thus, there's an irony here. @@christianbolisca1493

I'm waiting for the Economic and political situation in Egypt to become unstable enough that Egypt either revolts to Muslim brotherhood rule, and launches out on Jihad supporting Hamas to the North, the RSF to the south, the GNA in Lybia to the West and the many islamic groups in the Sahel or the Muslim brotherhood related pressure causes the military to support secular military dictatorships across the same countries and weaken Islamic influence while using the conflict to relave national tensions. In either case if egypt enters Sudan, I wouldn't be suprised to see it backing rebel groups in Ethiopia to ensure control over the length of the Nile. I look forward to the Greater Egyptian Military Imperium and seeing the majority of the Sahara and Sahel under a single entity.

Just because he considers the army to be the lesser of two evils doesn’t mean he considers them “beacons of civilisations” as he puts it. They are clearly evil and the highlighted Russian involvement makes those Christians complicit.
