Salutations to the chakra or wheel which is the powerful weapon among all. The sudarshan chakra is the most non stopable weapon of lord vishnu. But how did lord vishnu get its sudarshan chakra? According to shiva purana Long time back when the demons started havoc on the three worlds gods requested to vishnu to do something. To help the gods lord vishnu goes to the manas river where he worships lord shiva with 108 bel leaves . After giving 107th bel leaf, lord shiva to examine lord vishnu he took 108th bel leaf. Next ..... When lord vishnu could not find the 108th bel leaf he cut his one eye and give it lord shiva. Lord shiva was pleased and he gifted the chakra to vishnu . Then he started to killing the demons by his chakra. Other references : In ramayana the chakra was born as bharat as the brother of lord rama. Its also believed that its the protecter or kavacha also refered as body guard of the king ambarisha and it also donot leave durvasa muni to teach him a lesson easily. Surya or aditya , brihaspati or devguru ,vaishnavi devi , durga , krishna , mahakali means 10 handed kali , few asthalakshmis and goddess lakshmi herself , krodha bhairava , and many more holds chakra .....
