Wow, just wow ... this is literally perfect. It's really impressive to see how much can be done with just a piano and a beautiful voice ... I'm speechless. I went into this not knowing what to expect and it completely blowed my mind. The "beat" is so simple, it's just wood hitting against wood, but yet so breathtaking. It feels like a clock and you constantly realise time is passing, but this song gives such comfort that you don't really care as you just want to experience this piece of art. it feels real, almost too real if you know what I mean but in the best way I could ever imagine. Sometimes less is more and Sudden Lights really proved it to us. But still, it doesn't feel like there's nothing going on, it actually feels like a full orchestra for me, even though, well, it's just four guys playing a piano. Hearing this acoustic version made me feel like the first time I've heard the actual version - you're so overwhelmed, but in such a beautiful way that it's just goosebumps pure. This version gave me the same feeling, it's a crime how underrated this masterpiece is. No matter what will happen, this song will stay the Eurovision winner of all Eurovision winners in my heart. So please vote for Sudden Lights on the 9th of may, this song has to qualify, no matter how it will perform in the final. The true dark horse of this year.

Knowing the the struggle of my own country in eurovision the last years, I can really understand latvian people here. This is a very good entry and I really like this accoustic version and the original is my biggest grower (from D-Tier to A-Tier)... but people still don't give it a chance. They were also the biggest positive surprise at eurovision in concert in my opinion. I already had my 2 favorites of semi 1 but gosh! I like this entry more and more. I promise that I will definetly watch their entry and if I like it more than I already do here, I will vote for it.

"Aijā" in latvian is what you call the process of swinging a baby to sleep in your arms. According to the band, it is meant to calm all of us during these difficult times and soothe one/relieve the anxiety, as they feel like we all need something like this. ❤
