Sir 5 days before my right ear suddlendy felt full/clogged,Next day i got tinnutus sound in same ear. So i went to ENT specialist i had huge wax block in my right ear(no wax in left) which was removed its been 24 hours still i feel clog and ringing is it normal? Or i have any other problem.

I'm 27, I was recently affected with SSHL on left ear >90db profound loss. My right ear is perfectly normal. ENT said the reason is unknown and condition is idiopathic. I already have autoimmune hashimotos. Please tell whether there is any possibility of my right ear being affected too? How to protect my right side hearing?

Hope the doctor has started treatment for SNHL. SNHL in Hashimoto's thyroiditis has not been studied much. Protection of right ear Avoid : Loud noise Any trauma Diving during swimming Antibodies affecting ear function Strong pain killers Treat any infection at the earliest

Hello doctor. I'm 27 now. I'm having sensory neural hearing loss on the left year. It is confirmed by the audiometry test. Same condition are there in my family history (father's relatives) and also i had several types of poxes including mumps during my teenage. I don't want to use aids. It can be rectified by surgery?. Hi sir,I'm 32 years old, 20days before I lost hearing suddenly left ear went 0%. I went cmc hospital they took mri scan ctc scan. Then they said there is something swell or some infection on inner ear vein, and also permanent ear loss. They suggest to biopsy test next week. Any possible to get my hearing back.pls suggest me sir.

Hello sir My father is hearing some kind of noise inside his right ear,so we took a scan,the result ( Right ear: moderate to profound sloping sensorineural hearing loss form 500Hz to 8kHz (mixed component at 1kHz) with normal hearing at 250Hz Left ear : hearing sensitivity within normal limits from 250Hz to 4kHz with mild hearing loss at 8kHz ) but he has no Diabetes. Hello Doctor, I'm 29 yr old, exacly one half year ago affected by SNHL initially right ear loss 54DB and left 17DB, even i took lot of steroids and 6 intratymphanic injection in 1week interval. But now hearing become worse, 3 months back I took PTA it was 65 loss right ear and 21 in left ear and 2 days ago again took PTA right ear loss cross more than 80 and left ear 26, though I'm using hearing aid at the right ear but still hearing loss getting worse. Is there any treatment to get my right ear to take atlest 50DB loss, im not able to manage each day its like living in hell thought of attempt suicide.. Veryhelpless feeling like nothing to lose except living...

Sorry to hear that. Oral steroids and intra tympanic injections and hyper basic oxygen therapy available. Did you get MRI scan done?

I take treatment at Yashoda hospital secunderabad and they gave me injunctions but after few day there is no Improvement.
