When the kids are in high school or in University, there is a 360’ degree change in the time table. Planning a month long or 10 days trip with them is like FIGHTING A VERBAL WAR with them.

Very well relatable. Earlier my parents used to come to airport then we go home by ourself. Now I make solo trip to see amma a known driver picks me up. All parenys are getting old. Namakkum vayasardhu so stress yedukatheengo suba.

Hi Suba, hope everyone in your family are doing good. Although I'm born in Singapore, I like going to Chennai even though we have no one there. So I can understand how you feel when you go back to India after a long gap. Used to Singapore efficiency so much that I have trouble in Chennai that everything has to be registered to an Indian number. Going to explore Coimbatore soon.

Hello Mam, there is no rent for shops in airport. However the business has to give 35% of turnover as maintenance and also there is a yearly lease charge.

We, the ladies are highly emotional at times.Specially coming out of the pre set rules, comzort zone etc. But, We are mentally tougher than the Male members. Emotional quotient, accepting the changes and not to expect the outcome : OVERCOMING THESE is the real task. Amma kaiyala oru Kozhaiva pesanjha Rasam sadham: DEVAMRIDHAMAGA irukkum. More than that, that perumidhamana smile and the love n affection by a Mother IS BEYOND ANYTHING IN THIS UNIVERSE.

Thts why we say it's better to be in india Even if we get less salary we will be having a satisfied feeling we r taking care of our parents when they badly need us. They won't say in words but it's an inner feeling. I think we will also realize when we become like them

@lakshminarayanankasiraman3499 migration from Village to town and then town to city and now from country to country is common in the evolution of mankind .People started moving for jobs is not a new thing.we know how to balance both .many have failed to do so even if they stay in the same house or next street.i feel you r blessed one who can stay near and take care of them..

Dont overthink suba, you will create tension for yourself, its tru before you have to plan and remember alot, ur kids were younger too, but its different now, they will help, let them. I did this before and it was not mentally healthy, i let my kids do many things and i have more ease. Enjoy ❤

I am also so confused with the Indian currency 😂. I am petrified I will overpay. When 2000 rupees notes came out, I actually once almost paid double the amount to a vendor 😅. The crowd,the traffic, stray cows and dogs really frighten me. Singapore is so far removed from reality of the world.
