Good decision when the character becomes monotonous with no growth, then the actors should leave inorder to grow and explore different genres but the character of Vanraj Shah cannot be portrayed much better than Sudhanshu Pandey.

This is most likely what happened. He wouldn't have left just because of Rupali. I think he was unhappy with his character & had a disagreement with Rajan Shahi & decided enough is enough. You are right that he is holding back the real reason because he doesn't want any controversy. But one thing is clear & that is Rajan Shahi is the problem, not just in this case but in most of the cases where an actor felt unhappy & quit. Same thing happened with Hina, Harshad, Mohsin & probably many others. That man's ego has become too big & he doesn't value the time, loyalty, hard work & dedication given by some of his best actors. He should remember that pride comes before a fall.

I think the producer _is_ the problem here but he's too polite to actually say his name, so is just being vague & evasive in order to avoid telling the actual reason, i.e. Rajan Shahi.

As a fan of the actor I feel it was unprofessional of him to just decide to walk out of the show. He should have given a couple of months notice till they found a suitable replacement. Him doing this clearly meant scripts had to be changed last minute meaning the quality of the show also dropping. The show gave him so much love and respect and I just feel because of him rejoining band of brothers he’s having a midlife crisis.

I kind of agree with you tho the producers are at fault too for not giving more scope & focus to Vanraj & bringing in irrelevant & irritating characters like Meenu, Sagar etc. They lost a gem of an actor but I do feel he should have been a little less hasty & hung around for a bit longer & had a talk to the producers about increasing his screen time & giving him meatier storylines.

Not Vanraj but Anuj is the heartbeat of the show Anupama though Vanraj character was also very important and interesting in the serial ..and the ending of Vanraj quit was not proper… he should have quit in a proper way. Without Anuj the serial will be boring and nothing will be left in the serial..

Anupama is Anupama only because of the iconic Vanraj Shah. After a certain point the character of Anupama became irrelevant and irritating. But vanraj character has a great graph. His character became more relevant and practical. Honestly in few recent episodes i really liked how he bashed that character anupama because she became unbearable to watch. Hope her character ends soon. No vanraj no anupama.

Jhandupama is the most annoying & irritating FL in recent times & has become irrelevant in her own show. Without Sudhanshu as Vanraj, who is the catalyst for Anupama's story, there is nothing left to watch or enjoy anymore. He added a much needed spice to the mix.

You cannot rely on just one character & Vanraj was an iconic character who many loved to watch more than other characters. Vanraj was the heartbeat of this show. Without Vanraj Shah the show has become spiceless or rather a dish sans salt in it. As for Anupama, watching this monotonous character, with same gestures, same expressions & same dialogues is detiorating the show. In short, Anupama is no more a pleasure to watch. As for Gaurav Khanna, with good shows like CID, I fail to understand why he is still glued to this show. His puppetry weakens his graph. He too , like Vanraj, Kavya should quit the show.
