It’s hard to imagine that anyone ever used this as a “throw away” number. Faith’s last “I could honestly die” breaks my heart every time!

The two of them were perfect in this show. I was lucky enough to see it live and regret only that I didn't go back and see it a few more times.

Three days ago I was listening to accuradio broadway and heard Nathan Lane singing. 'Hey!' I said 'It's Timon!' I have since heard him in three other shows. I had no idea he was such an established theatre man. The more you know, the more you grow.

LOVE Faith Prince. She lives here in Sacramento and is very involved in local theatre, teaching others, especially young children.

I discovered Nathan Lane when this show opened and they were making appearances on TV shows. I was really impressed when I discovered he was registering with Actor’s Equity there was already a Joseph Lane, his real name. He loved the character of Nathan Detroit so much he chose “Nathan” for his first name. This was before he ever moved to New York. It’s kismet he got to star in GUYS AND DOLLS playing that iconic role.

I was lucky enough to see this back in the 90’s with both of them. The way the strings walk down when they sing sue me...sue me. Just brilliant.

Nathan is incredible. Is so underrated in Hollywood, it's a shame. I Love mouse hunt, the birdcage, A Funny Thing happened in the forum, the nance, The front page, The iceman cometh or Angels in America. And rencently is awesome in TV show Penny dreadful : City of angels.

It's the wonderful Eddie Strauss, who also served as Music Director and Conductor for the 1987 Lincoln Center revival of Anything Goes. Strauss was invited by Jerry Zaks (who also directed the LC Anything Goes) to join the Guys & Dolls team in 1992 as Music Director! :-)

Nathan Lane is hilarious. But it's way more enjoyable to hear Frank Sinatra sing the song

I disagree. I watched the movie version with Sinatra the other day and honestly was disappointed they didn’t have the dynamics of this performance (though, to be fair, this is the performance I grew up listening to after our school put on Guys and Dolls). Also, Marlon Brando sounds so flat as Sky Masterson...
