hello Mike, I love you videos!! what do you think about ATV exs series? Im about to buy a EXS-3CY kit but is it really loud of the acoustic sound with those pads? (really concern about that hats) and does it have any trigger or sensitivity problem by using so far? I will be really appreciate if you can tell me more about it. :) thanks.

Hey! Thank you for the comment. It’s funny you mention about the hats, the pads are acoustically very loud and I’ve actually just sold this kit and replaced it with a Roland VAD306. Trigger wise though the ATV is great. The other downside is you can’t edit anything at all without logging onto the website to download more kits etc.

@@MikeKeaneDrums woa Thanks for the reply, Mike! Good to hear that you got a really decent upgraded with VAD306. Besides editing or downloading the sounds with ATV, what make you dont like it and sell it? ( Its really bothering me too with that loudness with those pads. But, i really into the natural sound of xd3 module. Otherwise, 17KVX is the one.)

@@wdoazn it’s really the noise from the hi hats pads why I sold it. Just soooo loud. Each to their own but I would go for the TD17 KVX if the pad noise could be an issue for you.
