@@sunsteels Good on him, there are long term advantages for working musicians to having relative over perfect pitch anyways. Ps. It doesn't really matter for the comment which type of pitch he has, but I guess that was obvious anyways.

@@sunsteels No worries, I was just pointing out that relative pitch is overall nicer to have (long term). Some people seem to think that perfect pitch is superior but it comes with downsides later in life when you get older (over the age of 50), your hearing will diminish and this is a serious pain in the ass for people with perfect pitch (adapting isn't as easy as it sounds). And yep, that was the point of my initial comment, he is very talented but you don't get there with just raw "talent". Honing those skills takes years and years of hard work.

TheDooo is one of the very few people on earth that sing the guitar, rather than play it. Hendrix, Paige level playing in my mind. Their instrument is literally their voice, their emotions laid out bare in sound in a way that's more than just being able to pluck some strings very well. You feel it in your soul as well as your ears.

A lot of his comedy along with the other members of his YT group The Goons (of which all of the other three are musicians, with two of them actually in bands making music, those two being SnipingSoup with his band Slackjaw and McNasty with his band Enda Vinera) is pretty crude and risque, but they're incredibly self-aware about it and play it to where more often than not *they're* the butt of the joke, so they get away with it no problem. I'm not sure if you'd like Slackjaw or Enda Vinera since I'm new here and don't know the kind of music y'all like: Slackjaw is more of a Thrash Metal kind of sound whereas Enda Vinera is definitively Deathcore Metal. If you wanna hear a great full song that Dooo did including his vocals (he has, in my opinion, a beautiful singing voice), look up "But I pretend I'm a beginner" with GBSN and John Silkie. If you pay attention to the video, you'll be able to tell who is playing/singing what, as all three of them have character representations that light up with color when they're singing.
