There are only a few songs where Till actively asked the other band members to provide ideas for the lyrics. The lyrics to the song Rammstein were written in a small village pub only 25 miles away from me.

As far as I know all lyrics are written by Till. He is very fond of old fairy tales, that is why he uses the phrase "Nadel, Faden, Schere Licht" which translates to "Needle, Thread, Scissor, Light". It is used in a fairy tale by the brothers Grimm.

Zeit is sort of in a league of its own to be honest, especially video wise. But if you'd like one that makes you think/is emotional, I'd recommend Ohne Dich, Dalai Lama or Spring. The first 2 educatedmarine will have with English lyrics, for Spring there's a great fan made video which also has lyrics. I'd be interested to see what you guys make of any of those ❤️

As for male/female ratio... quite strange, since women are more often extrovert and reaction videos are loved by extroverts - who don't enjoy something if they experience it alone... But maybe indeed it's about Rammstein? If you want something more emotional - you should definitely see "Ohne Dich" - but it must be the version done by Educatedmarine! It is a very emotional song, amost brought me to tears - not through the lyrics, but through emotions in Till's voice. The video itself is just another masterpiece, as usual 😉 Have a nice day! ♥️

Hello you two. Challenge accepted😁. I really enjoy your reactions to my favourite Band. First time I watched and listened to this song, I laughed so hard. With this song, Rammstein has found a way to shed light on criticism of the overstretched ideas and the craziness of our society regarding beauty ideals. I'm definitely not against cosmetic surgery, but the extent to which it's practiced today is extreme. There are a few German idioms built into the lyrics. Such as: "needle, thread, scissors and light." That's what a lot of parents tell their small kids here. Or "Vanity is never modest" "He/ she chugged their face", which is a somewhat derogatory remark if someone overdid it with the surgeries. Everyone on stage is so worried about their appearance, but the aged audience is just enjoying themselves. The song fits great into the album's theme: Zeit/ time. With love from Germany🤘😎
