You don’t have to worry about the English release, just the other day on twitter the author tweeted “Coming soon….” in English. I think it’s a no brainer that a release for us will drop soon since there’s nothing else that tweet can be alluding to, plus with her connection to Ohkubo who’s also was on WSM with English volumes made me never worry about being able to purchase for this series.

Gachiakuta has been a weekly treat. It strikes a nice balance between traditional shonen tropes and nuanced application of said tropes. The building of this world and the characters is amazing to me. Each person is so cool and has depth.

Gachiakuta and Kajiki Chef both give me Shaman King vibes but in a good way. I loved Shaman King growing up and seeing something that even remotely reflect it in it own unique style I’m all for it.

Honestly, Kodansha NEEDS to have a Jump Plus type of service where we can get official translations online. Aside from Shonen and Young Jump, I personally feel like Kodansha has MORE amazing manga (Monthly Afternoon has the best manga lineup imo) that I just KNOW would be as popular as Tokyo Revengers if they're given a spotlight.

The first video you made about gachi akuta it peaked my interest but i wasn't able to catch up to the manga, now this video reminded me of it and I read all of the 13 chapters out and I feel totally hooked. It has a similar feel to it as the fire force manga had, were all the characters have a great design and seem fun and interesting, and what it nails extremely well are the mysteries of the world. Really loving it so far!

a large part of the stylistic allure and artistic skill can likely be attributed to astushi okhubo, the author of soul eater and fire force. Gachiakuta's author, kei urana, was okhubo's apprentice, and you can probably see okhubo's influence in urana's style

The art looks great, it feels like Horikoishi meets Nakayama Atsushi. Read the first two chapters. Honestly, I thinks it's very cliche and think your exaggerating the "subtlety" if you can call it that. But I hope the author adds some writing to this work and not rely on tropes.
