Suffering In Breath Of The Wild MASTER MODE

In this episode of Breath of the Wild: Master Mode… Quin is making excuses during Women Crush Wednesday. We all know he just wants some Urbosa action; though, being a gentleman, he phrases it under the pretense that he’s saving her from her Divine Beast. Sure, Quin. That’s why you’re so urgent. While preparing for such a battle, Quin is reminded briefly of just how hard Zelda works, and just how much her father sucks - briefly distracting him for his immeasurable lust for Big Hot Muscle Woman. Of course, such a force of nature cannot be held back for long, and so Quin boards Vah Naboris on his first try with no casualties in sight. Quin forgot how to think. This, for once, is not actually because of his arousal; it’s because he learned how to windbomb and stopped learning there. At least he’s having fun while giving himself brain damage. Quin counts his arrows before he shoots, declaring the battle won and his girl impressed before he even steps foot into the arena. Unsurprisingly, Quin is slaughtered mercilessly, and when Urbosa attempts to coach him and he snaps at her with some nasty comment about how she’s dead. This would be a character arc if only the green man wasn’t so skilled, and if he didn’t immediately begin worshipping his goddess once he finally slayed the blight. Once again we shall rest. quick tip quin: if you use a duplex bow from the yiga hideout you can shoot out two bomb arrows while only taking one from your inventory. Therefore, if you shoot directly at naboris's legs, you can take out each leg with only 1 bomb arrow each.

I wanna share a sad fact I learned: In the divine beasts, there is slight beeping in the background of the music which is actually two sets of Morse code messages. The higher pitched one is SOS, which was the message sent out by each champion right before they died. The lower pitched one is SAD (seek and destroy) because ganon had heard the SOS and was telling his minions to find and kill the champions. Each SOS corresponds with the champions, for example Mipha was killed very quickly so hers is very loud and happens right away. Revali was too proud to send for help right away so his doesn't start until later in the music, but then is very loud and frantic because he realizes he is going to die :(

The second stage is particularly brutal in master mode. There's so much time that Thunderblight can regenerate if you let him. And in a boss battle where death comes so swiftly that is very unfortunate.

Hey man, here's some tips All lynel attacks are parry-able. If you shoot it in the face it gets knocked down and you can mount it. Attacks when mounted don't spend durability on your weapons :)

You're right about it being easy with the master sword, I got it because I thought it would be impossible, but I just basically stun locked it and finished both waves without Thunderblight being even able to attack. Most of the bosses can be surprisingly cheesable honestly, when Calamity Ganon gets to his last phase you can just stun lock him for all eternity.

if you wanna do big damage i recommend getting the guardian armor and upgrading it twice. it increases ancient weapons and gear with 80% damage and looks ella sick on linkus. THAT will incinerate ganon into a pile of ash

When it comes to bosse like wind/fire/water/thunder blight and Ganon, there is a trick. you have to shoot with arrows where the boss would normally spawn, then during the cutscene the boss would take damage and when you'll fight him hell be either dead or almost.

I beat thunderblight Ganon a few years ago around this time of year and I was so proud of myself I made a Facebook post about what a POS Thunderblight Ganon was and how I beat him. I spent days beating that cuz I could only do a couple tries at a time. That being said watching you play master mode inspired me to finally try it and I am absolutely not looking forward to this at all. What the f*** was I thinking I beat that b****** once why am I subjecting myself to it again LOL.

The regenning health of the Naboris feet is super annoying, and really fast. Although I did find a way around it using a Duplex Bow, since the feet need two bomb arrow hits and the Duplex Bow shoots two arrows in basically the same spot, you can take out each foot with one shot.

to make thunderblight ganon easier, I like to either use shock resist food that gives three full shock resistance, or use the rubber armor set upgraded twice. Both make you shock proof.

This is so frustrating knowing that if Quin didn't waste Mipha's Grace to fall damage of all things, he'd have 2 lives each attempt against Thunderblight. It bothers me more than it probably should, it just seems like such an easily avoidable problem. All you had to do was press x once to pull your paraglider so you didn't die. Oof. With that said, I appreciate you and your content, and I'm glad you pulled through and felt accomplished for your victory.

Here's something useful to know: when carrying a 2 handed weapon that isn't a spear, you can hold attack to perform the spin attack and quickly start holding run and bow in quick succession. This will confuse the game into thinking you're doing a spin attack with the bow, so both hitboxes become active-making for a quick way to stunlock enemies and get damage in.

Quick tip, guardian and ancient weapons do more damage on ancient monsters, eg; guardians, Blights, mini guardians, than normal weapons.
