I am from Kashmir here culture and ibadahs had Sufi elements even today but in recent 2-3 decades it has declined significantly... Sufis claim to be hanafis lol but do opposite of teachings of Imam Abu Hanifa Rahimullah... Ahle sunnah are growing... There are some Barelvis Deobandis who can be seen using term 'Wahabi' when someone refutes them and their practices like visiting shrines, pirs, all these things may Allah guide us all to Haqq... Many outside the fold of Islam, when they "accept" Islam, they do so through people who themselves aren't upon the Qur'an and Sunnah....and when these reverts are influenced by the corruption of these confused individuals, then unfortunately for some, their hearts become closed to the truth....the poison of their "shuyookh" become dearer to them than the haqq. And it's so true when they say.....you shouldn't take your knowledge from just any Tom, Dick and Harry who claims to be muslim with his soft speech and charismatic persona......I knew this sister who also reverted, and as she was very keen to learn the Arabic language, she would watch Arabic lessons provided by the Bayyinhah institute(Nouman Ali Khan & Co.)....and slowly but surely, the Stockholm syndrome took effect, and she sees nothing wrong with those people, what they represent and whom they associate with(snakes like Tariq Jameel....).......I was CONFIDENT that brother Akkari's video on Nouman Ali Khan would convince her of the dangers....but to no avail......in fact, she accused brother Wajdi Akkari for being inappropriate and creating fitnah.....the irony.....! Such are the dangers of blind following......only Allah and His messenger, sallAllahu 'aleyhi wasallam, are to be blindly followed........may Allah bless you, my dear sister, for not being arrogant and persisting in your errors.......BaarakAllahu feeki!

Lol.. yesterday how my islamic history teacher lamented the decline of sufism in Bangladesh and the rise of 'salafism'.. how he lamented that men started keeping beards and women started wearing hijab, saying we have stopped practicing the 'true Islam' and adopted the 'Saudi Islam' which is apparently just for showing off. He even said this is the reason for Islamophobia, implying that practicing Quran and Sunnah, as opposed to the 'open-minded' and 'loving' way of the sufis, is extremism. Guiding ppl to the fire is very 'loving' thing to do i guess. These liberal Muslims are destroying ppl's iman and making them content with not practicing Islam as it is meant to be practiced. There was someone telling me that Allah SWT created the heavens and the earth just because of Allah SWT love some attributes of Rasullulah SAW and he said that there is Muhammad in all of us. Its often that when he speaks about Muhammad (SAW) he states that he is not talking about the actual person but he is referring to this attributes of our prophet. It really messed up my mind back then. This in Malaysia btw. May Allah azzawajal reward you with abundance of goodness in this life and the hereafter and make us firm in His religion the way that He would accept. I really appreciate your works brother. As a matter of fact brother abu mussab i am a former tabligeehi and i have spent fair time in thier masjid as you say they do a lot of dawah but those stray beliefs are usually in the scholars of tableegh and not among the followers. from my experince the tableeghis are more inclined to make sure people do salah and reading hadiths and knowing hadith.i left salah for 7 years and they pushed me daily for salah and now i observe salah strictly . As you said may allah forgive thier short comings. One thing i would also say is that tableeghis might be short on tawheed but they have always relentlessly tried and succecced in removing the taziya and maatam pratices from astrayed sunni muslims.may allah guide them on to right path

Regarding 49:32 what about those who say that this is an incorrect translation of the Qasida Burda, and that what is really meant here is that the people will come on the Encompassing Day to the Prophet ﷺ. from seekers guidance: "The “Encompassing Event” (wrongly translated us “times of distress and problems”) refers specifically to the distress that befalls all creation on the Day of Resurrection. As authentic hadiths in Bukhari [3092], Muslim [287], and elsewhere affirm, all of creation will go from one prophet to another, each of whom is busy with themselves-out of absolute awe of Allah-and tells them to go to another prophet. Your right.. what happened to Christianity is happening to Islam but their is a fail proof way from being victim of it. This is by sticking to the Quran and Hadith (sahih) which means authenticated documentation of the ways of the prophet.. there are alot of made up hadiths which each sect hold but 90% of the sources cannot be authenticated

It is very easy. Who follows the Quran completely, and the Sunnah completely without omitting or adding to it? Who refers to the group that the prophet announced to be saved? It is very evidence based and clear. Naqil (textual evidence) over Aqil (conjecture of the human mind, intellect)

“Niyaz” is something mostly Shia do every Thursday they believe their loved ones leave the graves and visit the homes so they cook the favorite foods of the dead people sometimes just sweets and pray over it and give it away to people to eat or eat it themselves. This is wrong bc our Prophet never did this practice. May Allah guide me if I’m wrong.

This practice is from the non-Muslims I believe. Probably they got it from Zoroastrian religion in and around Iran. The West has Halloween (same concept) Japan/China/etc. has a similar one (almost same though, called Obon in Japan)

As salam aleykoum wa rahmatulLah wa barakatuh akhy. Concerning the rocking back and forth. I don’t believe anybody said that it is obligatory to do when reciting the Qur’an and nobody claimed it was a sunnah or even a good adab so why call it a bid’a ? It’s not something people do as a form of worship, it’s just a habit like you said and to the best of my knowledge the prophet ﷺ didn’t say you have to be perfectly still when reading the qur’an so what’s the big deal ?

Because brother: In general things like food for example and jobs, hobbies etc. there is the principle to be followed: Everything is helal until we have a proof that makes it haram. You don’t need an evidence to proof that cucumber is helal for example. It is by default. But when it comes to worship we have the opposite rule: Everything is Haram unless we have an evidence that makes it halal. So to the example of the Prophet ﷺ, he did not rock back and forth, nor does the Quran tell us to do that, nor did the Sahaba (which were taught by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ) do it. So it is not allowed to do that. Also the Jews do it now, and it would be resembling the disbelievers in their worship which is not from Islam
