I saw Free perform in Portland at a hotel venue in the early 00's. Maybe 300 folks filled the room like a company Christmas party. Crawf Dog (Hi-C), and Big Steele were also there. We didn't care that he hit the stage 3 hours late. He was chopping it up with folks in the room like a real human. When he hit the stage? JESUS!!! He must have hit some Hi grade perico seconds before, cuz bro was FURIOUSLY flying around the stage like Peter Pan. Twisting of fingers. Articulating hands. Arms almost snapping off his torso. The animation & story telling via his conduite of music is Superb. His concert could only be matched by a concert I saw with Roger & Zapp in Fresno right before Roger Troutman was tragically murdered. Keep it tight P.
