Hip hop has always invited and incorporated traditional Asian instruments into the genre since the beginning of hip hop in the late 1970s. (A small example from the 2000s is Missy Elliott- Get Your Freak On, amongst the many many examples). So for me, to see/hear Suga make amazing use of these instruments and sounds AMPLIFIES the effect of the sounds and contributes something to hip hop that can only be delivered by an Asian artist. For me, its like an Asian artist saying "Hey Americans. I'm flattered that you appreciate our traditional music, but let me show you how to DO IT." Suga is pure hip hop. In addition, he carries his Korean culture with him, even his accent within the Hangul language (compared to Jin who speaks very proper, for example). Representing what you are made of and where you come from is VERY hip hop. I'm a black American who grew up on hip hop. It is an amazing delight to see people across the globe who also grew up on hip hop and how it is part of the things they love in life. SUGA IS PURE HIP HOP!!!!💜

Это великолепно! Для меня до сих пор является чудом, что БТС как драгоценное, невероятно дорогое ожерелье, в котором каждый камень переливается и блестит по-особенному.
