Hoshi has had a shoulder problem (it tends to dislocate) for many years. A few years ago, he dislocated his shoulder during a concert and had to leave the stage. He went to the ER, had it popped back in, and was back on stage in an hour! He joked with fans saying he thought he left the stove and went to turn it off!

I started to feel curious about SVT when I saw Hoshi's Enhypen "pass the mic" dance challenge, he was so good that it felt like he owns the dance. Then I watched their dingo music live, I was surprised how these 13 members lines distributed very well and each of their vocals was soooo good and distinct. It didnt take long until I learned their names, I thought it would be difficult but then somehow I already knew their names without even trying, watching their variety show in 1 day was enough 🤣🤣🤣

So I am a carat and I ended up watching this for Hoshi but I seriously loved both Suga and Hoshi so muchhhh! The comfort and everything Suga gave to Hoshi and Seventeen and Hoshi just fanboying over Suga and BTS was so wholesomeee!!! I felt this ep got over so fast and wanted moree! And when Hoshi mentioned that all he wants is to Seventeen, 13 of them together and when crieddd! AAAH our boys! Also Suga just comforting him and everything he said! I loveddd thisss! I wanna see all Seventeen members here now haha. Horanghaee!~

I about fell out of my chair when Yoongi sang SVT's "Don't Wnna Cry!" He really does know thier songs. And the 10:10 is a Hoshi joke. Hoshi is constantly posting 10:10 as Hoshi time. It has to do with his pretty eye smile. I love the respect that Hoshi gives Yoongi and you can tell that Yoongi is growing fond of Hoshi too. They were so cute together!!!!

Loved your reaction, Landon. Hoshi was so sweet to Yoongles. 🥰 I'm not super familiar with SVT but there are a handful of their songs I enjoy. And I do very much like Hoshi's single "Spider." SVT were so much fun on HYBE Game Caterers that I started to learn about them. I don't think their general musical vibe is my jam, but every once in a while it's fun. If you reacted, I would watch just to experience it with you as a fellow newb.

I'd love to see some more Seventeen content over here! Based on what I know of your tastes I don't know if you'd be into all of their music but they have such a big discography and a good collection of edm songs which I think you would be a fan of! Also I'd love to see you watch some of their dancing, they really are amazing performers! I get why the number of members is daunting for some people, they are definitely the largest group I stan (part of my holy trinity of Bts Seventeen and Gfriend) but if you take the time it is so worth it. What is so amazing about seventeen for me is that despite having 13 members every single one of them stands out, in the music and in variety content no one fades into the background and very quickly u start feeling like 13 people is barely anything!! Lastly as someone who loves kpop for the happiness, motivation and energy that I receive from the music and performances I really believe that Seventeen is the epitome of fun, energetic kpop that can make anyone smile. As an ArmyCarat of 7 years I've never regretted a day of loving either of these groups!

i will never understand why they create groups with so many members. 13 members is literally not enough lines for everyone. than why train them if they never get time to shine? and if they just do unit songs or whatever it will never feel like the whole group together. so i would guess there are fans of each group within the group. it´s so confusing to me. why not create smaller groups max 7 members. more than that just feels massive and unnecessary. besides when fans are into a group, they have to spend so long time learning about each member. i think many would just skip that all together. if they want to create a more powerful performance then just add backup dancers instead like BTS does.

Well, if you're not a fan of SEVENTEEN, I guess you can't understand that, but CARATs (fandom name) are not fans of some units within SVT - we stan the whole group. SEVENTEEN's units have some separate songs just for them, yes, but they're mostly together as 13 members. Units are great for highlighting their strong points and for dividing the work - SVT has Vocal Unit, Performance Unit and Hiphop Unit. Each unit contributes different things to the whole group's tracks, they're creating their discography and performances together. The company didn't have money to hire professionals, so the members had to do everything by themselves. Other than the official units they have some fun groups that are doing songs JUST occasionally, like SVT Leaders (3 leaders of SEVENTEEN), BSS (3 mood makers of the group), Jun & THE8 (2 Chinese members) or Joshua & Vernon (2 American members), but SEVENTEEN is mostly all 13 in their songs. The line distribution changes. On one song this member will get bigger part, on another that member will have time to shine. Besides, the chemistry of ALL 13 is unbeatable, their personalities match so well. It's just natural to have 13 of them in one group. This alone makes learning about them fun. It's "too much" just for outsiders, once you start getting into them, it's weird when one's missing. Let's just say that SEVENTEEN is not "unnecessarily" large. They are one big family and the group is extremely well balanced. It literally feels like fate has brought these people together. They're one of the three biggest 3rd gen boygroups for a reason.

You don’t understand it cause you’ve not taken the time to learn about it. Seventeen are incredibly popular and have a huge fan base, many ppl are not so easily discouraged to get to know extra people. The way the group works and is broken down for performances works amazingly well for them, they are all incredible performers and singers.

BTS need a lot back dancer bcs only Jhope and jimin can dance , and only jungkook can sing, even RM and Suga was a joke for underground rapper in korea, that's why they need a lot help from others. And korean doesn't even know them until they got international awards. They famous story began bcs they annoying international Army keep writing "any army" here everywhere including other idols videos and bcs they sell their poor story while Korean doesn't even care about them. And yes they're popular bcs they're working so hard so too but all idols are working hard too. While seventeen and NCT they are famous in Korea since debut but racist international fans like you doesn't even want to check them bcs you all will say their faces are same and hard to remember their names

Funniest part sometimes 4 to 7 membered group members have less lines than seventeen members… despite having so many members they have the fairest line distribution in K-pop. So worrying about that seems futile. Also one of the reasons carat as a fandom has the least amount of solo stans. The subunit that Hoshi was promoting absolutely slayed their comeback, amazing performance on Kmusic charts, most music show wins of 2023 etc is it because they are the most popular in the group? No.. Because doesn’t matter whether the member is my bias or not we support all and that means everyone must be getting their time to shine otherwise once again solo Stan problems. Uhm thats not true. We loved Seventeen as a whole! Yes there are units but they are seventeen and we love our ot13 seventeen. And even if they have unit songs they always have o13 songs. Also they all just match up so well with eachother they can have songs with any members paired and it good. Ex: Semicolon album. And they even do reversestages so they arent confined to one. And all work together in whatever they do may it be composing or dancing or what not. We can even feel it even when just one member is missing for some reason. Also yes they might get less lines or there might be times someone gets more lines than other in one song but in the other song they'll get their fairshare. Seventeen is just a wholesome family! And for me too it didnt take much time to know the guys! Also the whole group and their fun and vibe just makes you want to know them more! Also everyone has their own strong points so they always shine in one way or other!
