Almost 25 years after they first formed,the original Sugababes are back, with a one night comeback show at London's O2.

The band had to fight to win back the rights to their name - but they've never been shy of speaking their minds. Our culture correspondent Minnie Stephenson has been speaking exclusively to the Sugababes about reunions, dealing with fame - and surviving in a music industry that's still largely run by men.

She pronounced it correctly. It's an Irish name and that's how we pronounce it in Ireland. If anything she's one of the rare number of British people who do pronounce it the right way.

Not only that, for an album that was recorded and “hidden” in the vaults for ALMOST 10 years (for whatever reason and I’d love to know why/what was the prob with releasing it when they finished recording it almost 10 years ago) it is still relevant in todays times and weirdly some music from 10 years ago haven’t aged well in todays times

@@Itwas2007I’m secretly hoping that was sad by London Records because their pr and promo are rubbish because I seem to remember they seem to think their way of working would work on the ‘babes just because it worked for all saints, and then they dropped them because of low sales of one touch. But I guess some people needed to be sure they’d make their money back in the records which is fine. All worked out now that it’s released!!!!

That was a soft ball interview. Why not ask why Siobhan first left (bullying by Keisha) and then the fact that her debut single 'Overrated' as a solo artist as a song eclipsed anything the group put out? You can see it when Siobhan tapped her leg and her facial expression at 4:39.

Uh this type of interviews isn't for us, die hard fans, but catered towards the GP most specifically. Anything too negative or controversial, like the string of line up changes they've had, would probably send a weird vibe to an unaware audience.

The vibe I got from the early years was always that Keisha and Siobhan had the most beef with each other but now I get the feeling they’re the closest of the three.
