Sugar Cane 1953 Type II Denim Jacket Review

Hello everyone! Today, I am showcasing my Sugar Cane jacket that came in! I forgot to mention some stuff when talking about the jacket such as that there is no hand warmer pockets! Pretty crazy, but that's why jeans and pants have pockets instead I suppose. Here are some links towards this jacket if you want measurements and pricing.

The type 2 from Levi's removed the rivets in the front pockets. It never had rivets when they Type 2 was introduced (1952-3). You are correct however about it not being accurate for having BOTH the bartack and rivet at the sleeve opening. It's also cut a lot longer and the front pockets smaller for that more modern look than an OG Type 2

i got this and the iron heart slubby type ii, i got this as an impulse buy, thought it was 25% off (£185, down from 250), then i got an email from iron heart about their type ii jacket a few days later and gotit, i think ill start wearing the iron heart as my autumn/ winter/ spring jacket no regrets though, ill wear the sugar cane eventually

@@luckyducky7166 Sugar cane is more trad 1950s while the iron heart is the crazy japanese slub, I have not actually worn the sugar cane (I will get around to it eventually with the time i have left on this earth

It's not as good as the OG but I still love mine and get compliments on it all the time.
