Excellent video! There is a big cane farmer here in Avoyelles parish who uses the same cultivator rigs but instead of having tanks on the tractors he pulls ouachita fertilizer tanks behind the cultivators.

Excellent video as always. That's a lot of work being done in those fields in what looks like an awful hurry, - is that a weed killer or a fertiliser in those tanks. ?

brent cousins Because we get so much rain here the fields can flood sometimes. It stops the cane from drowning under the water. Unless you're talking about the drainage ditches..

Douglas Oakley I believe they farm about 12 thousand acres.
