Sugar cries in protest of the Bath

you are a great groomer. cats make a lot of movements and vocalizations and they are expressing but not necessarily in distress. when they meow at us out of their concern, they are often saying "gentle, I'm small." and they keep reminding us. you really have a patience, understanding and connection with cats. and you truly do treat them gently because they are small! also i'm sure you are able to tell when people get a cat they just aren't ready to take care of. and have so much insight on human-cat relationship building, human-cat right fit. i didn't get a long hair cat or a sphinx because they require more maintenance. i have domestic short hairs because they fit within what i can do in the current circumstances of my life (curing a health issue). and that gives me more time to pet them and play with them, which i love doing for them and me (and the health issue gets better too because of it). one suggestion for your videos- for the thumbnail, it would be good to have a big upclose adorable picture of the cat or of course if the case is severe a dignified but close up picture, and then a title on top of the thumbnail- and the photos don't have to be only the of the head - it can be a huge close up face shot, or like a little head looking over the body shot, with the cat's cute cute eyes looking at the camera. and then yeah a title like similar to the title of your video but on the thumbnail. someone below in the comments called sugar "salty". so you could have the title of video as you have it but then on the thumbnail have the text say: Sugar is super salty for her bath! anyway, i know having a channel is a lot of work, so i hope this suggestion meets you well. i'm sure you get many. better a suggestion than hatred :) hi from canada

I think Sugar enjoyed it quite a bit. Imagine how the skin feels to be scratched ohhh sooo good. She had lots to talk to you about. Tell you her problems and what makes her happy. Lovely job as usual. You seemed much more upbeat today. I think it helps us to talk to animals. It's like medicine for us. She has pretty eyes. Ohhh the bath lol. She was mad😂 poor thing. But she didn't run away. She calmed we you told her it's ok. She knew you wouldn't hurt her. You're the best❤🐈‍⬛🐈

While I was watching your video today my cat as you see her little picture there that's baby Grace well she was very concerned about her fellow feline and was on my lap nose up to the screen you know the phone and her paw was you know trying to reach out she was tapping the screen and meowing back like probably trying to say it's okay I've seen him work before he's a good stylist he knows what he's doing😹😺😸❤️

💖This guy is pure gold. I hope your boss understands your value, because finding a pet groomer of this level is actually really hard. One that both understands the animal and what needs to be done but does it GENTLY. My cat had a complete shave (not matted, they were looking for skin cancer) and she came home with several cuts from the clippers in her delicate skin- even thou she was completly SEDATED😳. Can you imagaine? I felt so sorry for her😥 This is why I say not every clinic has a groomer of this skill, that works with the heart and makes both the owner and pet feel safe❤

I just realized how you strategically hold the kitty’s jaw (lightly and carefully) while wiping the face clean. I’m assuming it’s so you can’t get bit and to apply pressure to clean. Oh how I wish I’d figured that out earlier when I had my cat. Daisy wasn’t as pleased when I wiped her face during a bath. One hiss and I knew that wasn’t going to be a good idea if I continued. Lol. You did a fabulous job with Sugar! I never knew you could just trim your long haired kitties and have them look so good!

i always wondering how do one know if a cat have a skin problem or not inside with all the furs. so far all i know from seeing street cats around, the cat that have skin problems would have baldness with some red area in skin.

Sometimes you have to cut back matting to see the skin issue underneath. If there’s too much fur in the way you can’t see. But unless there’s matting preventing a comb running through the hair, you can just observe how floppy the hair is. If the hair is floofy like for this cat then the skin is likely fine and healthy underneath.

I had no idea that cats were so vocal until I started watching your videos. I had previously worrried that they might be in pain to make such a noise but now I am beginning to see that they protest vociferously because they have a strong sense of personal dignity and that is breached when they are not in control. Many can also imitate human speech (one said no repeatedly when bathed), and there are numerous other examples. I think pain has a slightly different sound. Am I close to the mark?
