1:09 I see US Sugar gave the former FEC observation car a few changes in appearance. Nice. Sure hope to see 148 for myself in the coming future.

Yep that car looked great as did all of the cars on this train! Definitely make plans to see 148 it is a awesome locomotive!

Great video! I hope you enjoyed the sights (and smells!) of #148 in operation (hope you enjoyed the smell of used vegetable oil #148 uses as fuel, some people who saw it says the #148 reminds one of a neighborhood diner!) Fun fact: during its time at FEC, it used to run down to Key West, part of the fleet of FEC Pacifics that pull passenger trains through the Overseas Railroad.

Thank you for watching! So on this trip, while 148 does normally use vegetable oil on this day, they used diesel fuel as it's it fuel oil. Definitely cool that it use to run down the keys!
