I don’t think they banished her she was In season six episode 8 at Santana and Britney’s wedding dancing on the dance floor alone she was also a series Regular (main character) in season 4 and some of 5 She also sang wishing and hoping with Britney and sang a song with Blaine. She was one of the Spice girls along with Unique, Kitty, Marley, And Britt. She sang with the trouble tones in season 6 ( to kind you she was a trouble tone herself, she was actually the first Trouble tone) they sang “I’m so excited” she sang with Sam and Santana. She sang Shake It Out with Santana, Britney, Mercedes, Tina she had a “Tiny Romantic Storyline” with Rory, Artie, Sam, Puck, and Joe that they just threw to the side. She was Britney’s “only close friend” in season 4 because she was the only girl other than Tina that she wanted to hang around since Britt and Santana broke up (sighhhhing Sadly) I can go on If your wondering why I payed so much attention to her it’s because she was my favorite character also I’m obsessed with Vanessa Lengies

Honestly to me Sugar is a good character. Sure she was annoying at the beginning, but she was humbled (by Santana mostly) and used her money to help the glee club.
