I don't do anything for Imbolc but want to expand my practice to include it. I currently live in FL, and we don't get the changing of the seasons here, which throws me off with the Wheel of the Year. However, we are moving to NC in February, and I'm so excited to be living somewhere that gets all 4 seasons!!!... About Vday, it makes me sad that it always gets bashed. Yes, of course we should "show" our love all the time, but honestly, do we? I'm not talking about buying chocolate or roses, which is the gimmickie part. I'm talking about taking a moment to acknowledge our 'love' relationship in what ever way works for us as a couple. Our 'love', the one we have chosen to make a life with, is worth it. They deserve a special day to be acknowledged for the importance they are in our lives. Celebrating "love" is just as important as celebrating birthdays, parents, the Sabbats, Earth Day, or any other 'holiday'.

Imbolc for me is the return of the light. I will dress and make candles to put on my altar. I also crafting things for my altar like little snowdrop fairies. 🧚🏻 Please don‘t hide your other side, because hiding and repressing it makes it stronger. Work with it, do shadowwork and accept that it‘s there. It is a part of you even if you don‘t like it. Have a wonderful weekend! 💜🖤 Aaaand I overflavour too. 🔥😄

I agree that the snow globe thing is cute, but gives me strong Yule vibes. For Imbolc, I decorate my altar. I always do a small crystal grid, and also include lots of candles and a couple of oracle cards of Bridgid. After it gets dark, I turn on all the lights on for a few minutes to welcome back the light into the darkness. I will read or write some poetry. And I do an Imbolc Tarot or oracle spread. And that's what I like to do for Imbolc! 🐑

@@SassySoulSisters , I can't really take credit for the light thing. I watch videos about the Sabbats and take notes - this is my third year of celebrating them. I don't remember who I got that one from, but my favorites are Hearthwitch, The witches' cookery (Bex in Germany), and Alwyn Oak for witchy lifestyle stuff. I like writing haiku best, because it's short and easy, lol. Last year I just read some poems by my favorite Spanish poet, Becquer, but maybe this year I'll be inspired to write something.

Yes, I love our little Soul Family! Following your intuition when you're cooking (not baking) is the very heart of Kitchen Witchin'! There is nothing wrong with adding extra flavor! 😂 I like playing around with flavor mixes, and creating my own spice blends. There's a lady that sets up at farmer's markets here that always has amazing fresh dried herbs and powders (she doesn't know she's a witch 😉) and sells them at a VERY reasonable price, so I try to stock up with her. It has made such a difference in my food. I'll send you a little kitchen care package when it warms up and I go see her again. Have a great day, my Beautiful Soul Sister!

To me, Imbolc is the time to look for signs of an early spring (Groundhogs day is February 2nd). It's the coldest time of year here in Texas. I don't want to be in the giveaway because I have to much stuff. Lol! My boxes will be in tomorrow and Tuesday. Thanks for the sneak peak!

For me, Imbolc is my witchyversary so I spend a significant amount of time from the 31rst to the 3rd doing some spiritual things and planning for the year ahead. Some green witchery, kitchen witchery, spirit work, spell casting, divination, nature walks etc. It’s my favourite Sabbath!

I agree about the box that the Lux box was more exciting. Since Imbolc is the halfway point, I like to create balance in my day. Equal work equal play. I clean things out to make room for all the abundance coming my way. 🌙

I am so new to witchcraft that I’ve never celebrated it. But this year I will celebrate it by making an altar to Brigid & use the red, gold green & white candles and leave some flower seeds & greenery as an offering. Keeping it simple is what I’ll be doing for Imbolc.

I don't celebrate Imbolc, but I do put white candles and a little sheep on my altar. The ewes are just coming into milk now as they prepare to birth their lambs, in the spring so that's why I do the sheep thing lol. 🐑 I agree I prefer the Midnight Muses box this time. 💚 Don't ever change. Love ya!

I definitely like the darker themed Midnight boxes from them the best….but I do most of my workings during dark moon 🌚 & am an old Goth at heart 🖤 so it could just be that I was surprised by the snowy altar piece as it des not suggest Imbolc to me at all because of the tree 🌲 & deer 🦌 that make me think of Yule If it had snowdrops inside with the snow then I’d get it 🤷🏻‍♀️ snowdrops really signify Imbolc’s energy to me, nature springing back to life even from deep beneath the snow ❄️ but that might be a U.K. thing Imbolc is very important to me as it is the anniversary of the death of my youngest brother. I hold ritual space for him from Imbolc Eve until just after dawn. Imbolc is like a sort of Samhain for me in that way. It is also the end of the worst months of Seasonal Affectve Disorder for me.

I have never officially celebrated Imbolc. But since Vegas doesn’t have a long winter, I tend to plan for spring about that time. I get really antsy for blooming stuff by then and putting winter stuff away and getting outside. Maybe with our new community I will plan something official. I have to agree, bat is much cooler than anything in this box. And I agree, if everyone liked each of us, the world would be way boring. Keep being sassy!

What I like to do for Imbolc is a deep cleaning of my space and cleansing of myself for some self-love rituals. Love the Sugar Muse box, but I do like the Midnight Muses box better. I'm a gothic girl.

This box was cute, your right the bigger item does feel kinda snow globe Yule but still really cute. Maybe it will be even better when you get batteries in it. I always love sugar muses even though I had to stop boxes… And girl I always stay for your whole video 😂 I love the ramblings. For imbolc though I don’t really do anything special for this holiday although I feel connected to this holiday more than others. This year though I’m planning on doing a planting ritual with an imbolc kit I’m getting from goddess enchantments. She’s doing this beautiful pot and seed paper you plant which I thought was a beautiful little ritual thing to do. Plus spring cleaning I’m sure I really really need to organize all my stuff. I love the idea of a retreat one day also.. I think it would be so much fun. ❤ the runes would be great to do for a live.. I’m not good with them either so I never use them.

It would be so epic! Hi Stacy, I am like you and for Imbolc, I don't do any rituals or anything. However, I would like to try something this year. Loved your unboxing. I agree with you about the globe that it seems it would have been better in a Yule box but it is cute and looks kind of homemade which I like. I would like to know how you organize all the items you get from the boxes. I have been getting boxes since Dec 2020. I don't have a lot of them but they are piling up and I am just confused on how to organize them in a way that makes sense with my practice.

For me, Imbolc goes by the wayside. After Samhain, Thanksgiving, and Yule I'm in burn out mode and need a break. I do try to light a candle on Imbolc though. I liked the box but would keep the snow globe for Yule myself. You are amazing at giving us a safe place to be!

I am like you…have never celebrated it before. But I definitely want to do something to recognize it. I’m planning on doing some spring cleaning physically and magically. It’s difficult for me to think of it as the beginning of spring because it’s still snowing, cold, icy and no flowers appear until late March.

I feel like the channels with less subscribers are generally more down to earth and connected with the subscribers that they do have. I'm a new channel with only 25 subs and I am able to respond to all comments rather than it getting overwhelming, so it is nice to follow other smaller channels and really connect with one another! I've always sticked to reading about and honoring the more popular sabbats, but this year I am focusing on all of the Wheel of the Year and learning more about the "smaller" ones like Imbolc. I think this year I am going to focus on spring cleaning and clean my whole house as well as my altar space top to bottom, set up an altar, and just try to connect with the cycle of the earth through a special candle burn to usher in the light of spring. I watched your videos to the end, too, but please don't enter me in the giveaway as I am already subscribed to both of those. :) SORRY for the long comment already, but I was hoping to see her continue those pretty dried flowers in her boxes! I noticed there hasn't been any in the last couple you've opened.

This will be my first Imbolc. I plan to burn plenty of white candles and i may make some suns to hang over my altar to represent the sun soon returning. I found a cute white candle at the grocery store that's in an actual glass so it looks like an actual glass of milk. I want a French milk pitcher to add to my altar if I can find one in time. The cleaning part I will start early. Like today. Lol. One area of the house at a time though. When I clean, I usually clean with intention and that helps a lot. I thought about sharing how I do my craft/magic but because when I’m doing my rituals and stuff like that I don’t speak out loud I don’t know how that would go. Or maybe I could explain what I did after the fact and go through the motions without actually performing the ritual because I take that stuff way too seriously. Idk filming the actual ritual I feel would take away from it doesn’t seem genuine to me. Idk.. something to think about.

Like you I do nothing for Imbolc. I hate valentine day I lost my sister that day,so I do not celebrate it anymore. Hi Stacy, personally, i don't celebrate Imbalc . Ibdon't really know about it . I only know Brigid , because my neice is named Brigid. I would love toblearn to make a Brigid's Cross. Yeah I never measure when I cook only when I bake lol.
