I spent my formative childhood years at the pictures watching the Pathe News during the intermissions. My mum used to take me to work with her when she was a cinema usher/ice cream sales lady. My eldest siblings will both have been in school and my dad will have been hard at work at Head Wrightsons. Happy Days. ❤ x

I would have hated living without sugar, but there is no doubt we were far better without it. Thank you for the video!

I was on a coach trip with my dad, and saw Concorde coming in to land at RAF Fairford in 1969. The driver stopped the coach and we all got out and looked, absolutely gob-smacked. Have never seen anything quite so wonderful.

@@JosephStealin I genuinely didn't know that but thanks for keeping me informed. I asked Paul Watson on his video today,in regards to how sub saharan Africans managed to even get to blighty when they couldn't create or build ships, boats or even canoes even!!! I'm sure there's an explanation I haven't thought of but surprisingly nobody has informed me of the answer. Maybe the BBC don't want to make white feel insecure about not being as inventive etc. Still it is weird I think that when the white races arrived in Africa, they saw that they had pretty much nothing. My mother explained to me that they hid all their passenger planes etc to again not make the white man feel insecure or even jealous. So many things I never knew before until today. Sorry to go on. Cheers.
