This recipe yields 60 oz of emulsified sugar scrub.
Ingredients:
113 grams EWax (I use soft and silky)
42 grams stearic acid
28 grams beeswax
355 grams sunflower oil
85 grams coconut oil
70 grams fragrance oil
13 grams liquid germall plus
40 oz cane sugar

as long as they are packaged properly (bubble wrap, in a box) they do well shipping, since they are not sitting in direct heat for extended periods (assuming the receiver does not let them sit in a hot mail box for days on end)

Hi thank you for this video! When/where do you add the sunflower oil? After you poured 355grams in a cup you set it aside and didnt come back to it. Everything else was mixed and you didnt mention the sunflower oil again. I watched the video 2x fo see if I missed it and it just wasnt mentioned as to where you add the sunflower oil. Please let me know if you add it to the items that are melting or do you add it with the preservative and fragrance oil? Or do you add it directly to the sugar? It's the only step that is missing. Try epsom salt it has a much more finer constancy as to Himalayan salt being pretty rough to the skin if you were to use that you'll definetly want to blend it until it's fine

Yes that salt can be used in the recipe as it has a similar texture to brown sugar. However you may want to reduce the amount of salt you use in the recipe. Just adjust it to the texture you like that wont irritate your skin too much.

Emulsifying wax nf is roughly 50/50 Cetearyl alcohol and polysorbate 60 😊

Hey, the difference is with this one it won’t turn into a soap like consistency. With the other one once you start scrubbing it’ll turn softer and softer! If you use tree hut it’s this consistency in the video. I’ve only used that one but I’m venturing into the foam for my business

Do not put oil directly into the foaming soap base put it in the dry ingredients if you do not add oil into your soap base it'll dry out your skin for whipping soap base refrain from using coconut oil because it hardens instead use avacodo or olive oil which is safe for sensitive skin types

Foaming bubbly bath scrub is basically a whipped soap mixed with a sugar scrub so it cleanses and exfoliates at the same time....while an emulsifying sugar scrub is just and exfoliator and she uses emulsifier so that when it comes in contact with water it will mix with it and leave a smooth lotiony feel on the skin.

My main source is Aztec but several fragrances come from other places. My lily of the valley comes from a company in Canada it was the best lily of the Valley I have ever found. I usually order 16oz or larger.

Instead of using 40 oz of cane sugar, have you ever tried course brown sugar? If did so, did you or would you change the amount used?

No need for refrigeration as there is a preservative as well as no water. I sell out quickly so they never sit long. However I have several open in my shower that have been opened are being used for 6 months or more and they are fine.

Beeswax is perfect and will last longer ❤

Beeswax isnt an emulsifier so try finding an emulsifier if you cant get ewax. Also citric acid is used to balance ph while stearic acid doesnt so you can't replace it.

That can work but you wont get any benefits from the coffee because it doesnt dissolve in oil so it would only serve as an exfoliant

yes it can. just remember the skin on the face is a bit more sensitive then other parts of the body. certain fragrance oils (like cherry) I cannot use on my face.

Food coloring can stain your skin as well as the tub or sink. I would advise against using food coloring.
